Friendly helpful manager with good English. Called to coordinate nearby parking, which worked great. Loved the plant-filled courtyard. Nice included breakfast.
No elevator, so be prepared to walk up a floor or two. A chair or two in the courtyard would be nice.
everything in walking distance, parking place if you do a reservation...
This is a wonderful friendly oasis of calm amid the bustle of Cordoba's streets
Slightly difficult to find but that might have been our sense of direction.
Very authentic Cordoban patio. Cool calm, very peaceful. Breakfast good
Not allowed to use area with the tub. Restaurant is just for functions not hotel guests. Beds too firm for me.
The old building and courtyard and convenience for city centre
The plunge pool was rather oversold in the photos. It's down in a deep, dank courtyard, rather small, and would only be inviting on the hottest of summer days (July and August basically)
Location, helpfulness of staff, rooms, bathroom, breakfast, coincident Parking nearby.
The hotel is really beautiful with a nice charming patio. The rooms are also nice and big.
It was a little bit noisy from the streets but this was a generall problem everywhere when we stayed in old houses.
A beautifully tranquil hideaway tucked away in a maze of cobblestoned streets. Staff were warm helpful and very welcoming. Excellent value for money.
Good location - could walk everywhere. Loved the included breakfast. The room was spacious & had a nice layout (Pacifica). The bed was comfortable and there was a bidet in the bathroom.
We were on the 1st floor & there's no lift. The hotel Wi-Fi didn't work but the receptionist gave me the password to the owners Wi-Fi (maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that). The usual in Spain - no fridge, no tea making, no room safe & a bit mean on toiletries.
I loved the patio courtyard and the breakfast place, very refreshing on a hot summer morning. The girl at the reception, Maria José was exceptionally nice and helpful, she even researched train and bus schedules for our further trip to Granada.
The hotel's location is not the best for the first time travellers, as you have to walk down to the river and then along it to reach the Mesquita. Then imagine walking the same road up in the evening when you are tired after a day of sightseeing. The wifi was virtually non-existent, the bed small and the AC weak and noisy.
We stayed at the Casa de los Azulejos for six days, and had the ground floor suite, which had its own patio area. Room was stylish and very comfortable. Very effective air conditioning. Nice bathroom area. Breakfasts were good, and again could be taken outside. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Several communal areas in the hotel - indoors and out - attractive and welcoming.
Wifi connection was a bit patchy in our room, but worked in other parts of the hotel. Otherwise nothing to criticise. Highly recommended!
Patio entrance and "Moorish" ambience. Breakfast in cool shade outside. Tiny plunge pool for hot afternoons.
No dislikes, but know that this is a simple hotel with a friendly aspect. You will not find concierges and flunkies here.
Lovely hotel, good location, very comfortable, breakfast great. We loved it.
Laundry facilities would make it even better.
Really lilked the breakfast and patio in the morning.
Wish it had an elevator and parking.
Very friendly staff (they even provided a list of all sights and museums with current opening hours upon check-in); charming interior and patio (including a small pool!); good breakfast; very friendly atmosphere.
Run by a wonderful, hospitable family. More like an inn than a traditional hotel. Beautiful accommodations. Hotel provides an excellent breakfast. Easy walk to most sights.
Everything was great.
The allure of the old tiled house. The self-made jams and marmalade for breakfast. The terrace for breakfast. The availablity of parking, not far away.
The neighbourhood is not very attractive (but the Mezquita is within easy walking distance).
Great hospitality and very helpful friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The new pool is just what one needs after a long hot day visiting Cordoba.
Nothing to dislike really.
The location is brilliant: right in the centre so you can return several times during hot sightseeing. The staff incl. the owner was friendly and helpful. We did appreciate the secure parking space for our motorbike. Breakfast was excellent and fresh.
All good! Happy to recommend and return! The new pool may be a bonus soon..
Charming hotel full of character, really helpfull staff, lovely breakfast, simple but extra touches of homemade jam and other goodies. Excellent restaurant next door, went twice! Cordoba. Beautiful place.
Not much had a superior. Room so very spacious, balcony is a Juliet type.
The hotel is a beautiful place to stay. The proprietor and his staff could not have been more helpful. The room was attractive and comfortable and the breakfast super.
There is a need to be aware that there is no lift, so it is difficult to get large items of luggage to higher floors.
Friendly and helpful receptionists. Nice choice for breakfast and individually served coffee, on little outside area. Pleased the room was quiet.
Excellent location! The room is spacious and comfortable and clean. Breakfast is also great! There is a very nice restaurant next to the hotel! Strongly recommend!
position charming hotel great staff
