Casa Del Aljibe  

The house and hosts are fabulous. Beautiful old building full of character in the heart of the Albaycin with rooms arranged round a courtyard full of greenery. There's a lovely wooden sofa/couch on an open verandah with views of the Alhambra, and another underneath the verandah, facing onto the courtyard. Both get full sun until after midday. My room was elegantly simple and tastefully decorated, with old terracotta tiles, a superbly comfortable bed, nice artwork on the walls and lovely old wooden furniture (North African?). The bathroom was fine, with an efficient shower and plentiful hot water. There's also a kitchenette, so I was able to make early morning tea and coffee, to drink with the french windows open to the balcony, facing the sun and the Alhambra. There is sufficient kitchen equipment to make simple meals, but the joy of being in the Albaycin is exploring the back streets and finding neighbourhood bars and restaurants serving wonderful food and tapas. The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming and informative, and very good company.

Fantastic location looking up towards the Alhambra. A little tricky to find but well worth it. Our host was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful courtyard garden, complete with tortoises! Would definately go again.

A bit awkward to find as it is tucked away in the old town, even the taxi driver was a bit confused. Not recommended if you were infirm or disabled.

Dreadfully small bed and wonky headboard. No room for 2 people to sleep in the bed and unable to read leaning against the headboard. A very long way from the car parking through many cobbled streets, up & down & very difficult to find and misleading about how close to the Alhambra. Completely unsuitable for mature people - would suit young hippies! Too expensive for what was provided.

Great host, facinating place set in the Abysin quarter of Granada beautiful environment in the old quarter with a lovely courtyard. Very good for exploring Granada, views across to the Alhambra etc

Ddifficult to find parking which is a little way from the house itself , old quater is quite complex and road system had just been chaged so cat nav not up to date. (you don't need a car once you are in Granada!

It is located on a charming side street, in a venerable old building, and the hosts, Mike and Monica, were great sources of information about Spain and Granada, and were friendly and helpful. it also had a nice view of the Alhambra.

Well, it was a little hard to find, but that is not Casa del Aljibe's fault; everything in the Albaicin neighborhood of Granada was hard to find. But mainly, it was expensive for what it was; definitely not a value-for-money stay.

El emplazamiento es privilegiado, además es confortable y no hay mejor lugar que estar en el Albaicín durante la estancia en Granada.

Acogedor y tranquilo. Buenas vistas de la alhanbra

La localización es fantástica: con unas vistas de la Alhambra maravillosas y en pleno barrio del Albaicín. La dueña, Mónica, resultó atenta y nos dio consejos útiles para vistar la ciudad y movernos por los alrededores. El edificio está muy bien conservado y mantiene un aire antiguo que nos encantó.

Nada. Como mucho, al estar en el Albaicín, llegar con una maleta pesada se hubiera hecho un poco difícil, pero las indicaciones que recibimos antes de ir facilitaron mucho la tarea.

La ubicacion inmejorable, esta muy cerca del centro, y el señor muy amable

El agua la cortaban y cada vez q querias duxarte tenias q subir a decirselo, hacia un poco d frio y en la pagina pone que habia microondas y no lo hay, el wifi no funciona.

Lo mejor fue que desde que haces la reserva, Mónica/Michael se ponen en contacto contigo para explicarte como llegar a la casa del Aljibe, lo cual es un poco extraño al principio pero una vez que llegas a granada entiendes la importancia de esto ya que el sitio esta un poco escondido. El lugar esta super bien ubicado y la vista a la Alhambra desde la habitación fue lo mejor, la habitación es muy comoda y te atienden de maravilla. Super recomendable la estancia en la casa del Aljibe si visitan Granada. Lo único que creo que falta para hacer la estancia perfecta hubiera sido una televisión en la habitación para esos momentos en los que regresas a la habitación a descansar un poco.

расположение в старом районе альбасин, в окружении красивых аутентичных улочек, гулять по которым большое удовольствие. правда тем кому тяжело постоянно подниматься-спускаться будет тяжеловато. красивый интерьер. приятная хозяйка и очень дружелюбная собачка. симпатичный андалузский внутренний дворик с садом и черепашками. недалеко все достопримечательности и альгамбра. кухня нормально укомплектована, есть все необходимое, кофеварки нет (мне было неважно). есть вай-фай, но первый день посещения был дождь и поэтому интернета не было, один день не страшно. интерьер очень красивый, все чисто, все аккуратно, все работает, по любому вопросу можно обратиться к хозяйке монике и она оперативно подсказывала и советовала, по английски говорит хорошо. качество полностью соответствует цене.

отопление было непостоянное, некоторое время греет, потом выключается. да и то, которое есть, не спасает, рекомендуется к посещению только в теплое время. в марте нам было холодно (на улице было +10).

Está ubicado en un sitio excelente con vistas a la Alhambra. La casa estilo rústico andaluz con patio. El dueño es una persona muy amable y nos sentimos como si fuese todo nuestra casa.

Los plomos saltan si enciendes varias cosas a la vez. Las habitaciones de la planta de arriba son todas el mismo precio independientemente de si tiene habitación a parte, vistas directas a la Alhambra o no.

Una casa preciosa con vistas a la Alhambra.

Inmejorable emplazamiento en el corazón del Albaycín, la casa preciosa, habitaciones muy acogedoras y mucha tranquilidad.

Lo que más me ha gustado ha sido la decoración, la familia de la casa, las vistas a la alhambra, en general la casa en sí es preciosa, me encantaría vivir todo el año en una casa de esas características.

Bueno por poner un punto negativo, el seto de enfrente del bancón estaba un poco alto y tapaban un poco las vistas a la alhambra.

Soggiornare nel quartiere dell'Albaicin e affascinante, ma risulta scomodo se si arriva in macchina e se si è costretti a utilizzare il passeggino per bambini piccoli. L'appartamento è un pò dismesso.

Schönes ruhiges Zimmer mit Balkon und einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Allhambra. Andere Zimmer mit Blick auf den schönen Patio. Das Haus liegt zentral mitten im historischen Albaycin (marokkanisches Viertel) nahe Sacramonte und den Cuevas der Zigeuner (Flamenco) sowie nahe dem Stadtzentrum. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und helfen Ihnen gerne.

Der Kochbereich dürfte noch ein wenig besser ausgestattet sein.

Vastasi täysin odotuksiamme vanhana,idyllisenä hotellina. Niin hotelli kuin ympäristö vei ajatukset suoraan 1400-luvulle eli Granadan historiaan. Toki hotellissa oli moderni kylpyhuone ja keittotilat myös riittävät. Kaikissa asioissa emäntä ja isäntä olivat hyvin avuliaita eli kysymys tai pyyntö niin asiat järjestyivät. Casa del Aljibe ei ole hotelli tavanomaisessa merkityksessä vaan spesiaalivalinta matka-asunnoksi.

Granadassa sattui olemaan huhtikuun puolessa välissä helmikuinen ilmasto. Ei ollut hotellin vika ja lämpöä riitti.

Difficile de trouver à se garer à proximité (mais c'est pareil dans tout le quartier de l'Albaicin). Insonorisation inexistante.
