Room was very nice--breakfast excellent--building was charming due to the design, not much air in room--a bit stuffy--but probably can't be helped due to layout of building

The staff were really nice and very keen to make sure that you had a great stay, with recommendations and tips about the city. The hotel itself was beautiful and our room was great, with a big bathroom and shower. There were lots of great little touches like providing afternoon tea and letting guests borrow a computer to use the internet.

I liked the location - it is close to the Allhambra, the old city, restaurants and shops. I also really liked the staff. The were friendly and helpful and when I dropped 40 euro, the person who found it put it under my door. I also liked the building and the that I could leave my windows open - the bars meant I felt safe and I was not stopped by any noise. There is nothing I didn't like about this charming hotel.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, Clean, characterful and romantic hotel. We enjoyed this hotel. You need to negotiate stairs. Some rooms dont have elevator access and/or minibars. Some WiFi was poor. Ask before you book. I wouldnt take the breakfast myself but it's adequate.

It was in an ancient building in the medieval section of Granada. No cars are allowed their so it has lots of atmosphere. The room I stayed in had huge wooden windows with antique wooden shutters that could be kept open or closed according to your wishes, and that added to the medeival atmosphere. In addition, the heaters were efficient without baking you. They gave a subtle warmth, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature without drying the air. The staff was kind of unprofessional and impatient -- they did not have service orientation. Your needs/wants were an annoyance to them. Not gracious. The decore and furnishings of the room were cheap, which was strange since they were better in the brochure. With a minimum effort the room could have been improved for more discerning travelers. Toss out the tacky lamps, please. Lol (please not tacky in a good way!)

Excellent location. Clean & comfortable, very querky, so much nicer than a big chain hotel. Very friendly. Staff excellent even went to the trouble to decorate room with banners, balloons for a birthday. Highly recommend . Rooms lack a bit if sound proofing.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, small but complete. The lift was a welcome surprise with our heavy bags. Being we visited in February (winter) the central heating was great, but sometimes a little too hot (we slept with the window open). Perfect location to walk to Alhambra, the main streets of the city and great tapas bars. The hotel organised a taxi transfer to the train station very early on our departure which arrived bang on time and we arrived at the station with plenty of time to spare. Central heating was at times too hot, we slept with the windows open.

What a gorgeous hotel! We were greeted warmly and shown personally to our rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were so comfy! We especially loved the way the rooms are situated around a central courtyard--very quaint and authentic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. WONDERFUL!

I didn't like the first room, been given the second, only to find that people from outside can peek on me. Changed to the third room which was very nice. Staff was nice and helpful. Close to Alhambra and town centre. The hotel is quite big with a labyrinth of corridors and courtyard, which are not properly lit. Dark at night. The quality of the rooms vary greatly. You could seen nice photos on the website but be given the worst room. I expect more from the price this hotel is charging.

A neat old place, quite interesting. Clean and tidy, nice facilities, very centrally located. The young staff was helpful and friendly. The building, too, is interesting, thought folks should understand that it is indeed an old building so it has some of the aspects of mediaeval life built into it - for instance, the rooms have very little natural light coming into them. But the place itself is quite pretty nevertheless, and I forgot that aspect of the room given the general excellence and location of the facility. The price of breakfast at 10 euros is excessive, I think. The shower was poorly designed, thought that's not unusual for many places we visited.

We booked just the double room - but to our surprise we got en suite with small kitchen (fully equipped) and spacious sitting room. it was lovely apartment, full of character and detail. Delicious buffet breakfast with fruits, pastries, and fresh scramble eggs.. Rooms are very quiet, location of the hotel is excellent (small side street) There was free tea and coffee available in the afternoon for all guests (we didn't have a chance to use it - but we think that was a nice extra touch Ladies at reception very friendly, professional and helpful at all times Bed was bit too short.... and there is sound of water coming through the pipes in the walls, but we got used to it - adds to the special character of the place....

The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is an historic building located just off the paseo along the Darro river. Excellent location for exploring the Albayzin and walking to the Alhambra. It would be nice to have a safe (Caja Fuerte) in the room. They have a safe in the recepcion.

Very clean hotel located just off of Plaza Nueva in the Albaicin in Granada. The staff was very helpful and made last minute reservations for us at a restaurant nearby. Rooms are on the small side with tiny bathrooms but the ambiance is perfect. If you have a room facing the pedestrian only street expect a good bit of noise until the early hours (at least on the weekends). Breakfast was included and was a nice variety of sweet and savory items. Noise from street.
