The aura of the hotel was very quaint, and the front desk staff were excellent!
Not necessarily a negative, but for travelers to be aware you can't really reach the hotel via car. Once there you can walk anywhere you need to go.
Location & quirkiness of accommodation
The hotel is absolutely nice when you want live in an fantastic old house with everything necessary and in the city center.
The room and hotel generally was just lovely (our room had a great view too) - clean, comfortable & "classy" - and the staff were kind and helpful. It's an old (I presume...), characterful hotel rather than being corporate-posh & bland.
All was fine.
Very helpful & knowledgeable staff who spoke excellent English! A lovely building & area with plenty of restaurants, bars & shopping within walking distance.
The lift broke down whilst we were in it and it took about 30 mins for the engineer to arrive to open the doors! However, the Manager couldn't have been more apologetic and, although we would've appreciated a little more reassurance whilst waiting for the engineer to arrive the incident was soon forgotten.
Location in the middle of old town and very close to alhambra. The hotel is de facto XVI century's palace, great authenthic atmosphere, rooms in very good standard. Very helpfull Staff - You should ask for a recommendation for restaurant: we were really satisfied.
Everything was perfect. There is no parking, You shoul park on one of 2 public parkings specified by hotel, then take Your luggage by taxi and go ten minutes to the hotel (You will receive discount for parking and taxi). Don't try to find the place close to the hotel, don't waste Your holiday time.
* Central location * We were upgraded to a better room in the hotel next door with front views of The Alhambra and the river without extra charge * Lorena and another young lady with a pony tail and glasses were outstanding. Lorena was extremely helpful telling us where to go and what to visit in Granada. We tried the Lebanese tea at the Abaco teteria, played with the white cat and we took photos from the balcony. THANK YOU LORENA :) * Will come back one day to this hotel and recommend it to others.
I can't find anything to fault this hotel..
The location was perfect and the staff were very helpful. The room and bathroom were comfortable and very clean.
everything satisfactory with exception storage and surface space
bedside tables- not enough space throughout room for instance makeup, brushes, clock, tumblers
The location is beautiful, the position as well, the hotel smelled nice and overall was great value for money.
For a 3 stars hotel all was good
The atmosphere and decor - cool Moorish influence. Very stylish. Great location on the main plaza. Excellent breakfast in the most atmospheric outdoor dining area. Wonderful views from terrace bar while enjoying a drink or two and watching the full moon rise.
Carrying suitcases up and down steep, narrow stairways!
location to attractions.
hard to find hotel. Taxi got lost, did not know location, dropped us off at Plaza Nueva and had us walk several blocks to hotel.
Location in old town - characterful Helpful staff with good recommendations for restaurants and for booking tickets to the Alhambra to avoid the crush
Location in old town - not accessible without walking or taking a taxi Website contains out-dated and unhelpful (untrue) information that leads to difficulties
The building itself is wonderfully historical and located very ideally for those visiting the Alhambra and the Albaicin. The staff were extremely accommodating and the rooms were clean and charming.
The beds are only slightly more comfortable than sleeping on the floor! So hard!
Super location, part of the old city with warren streets and a lovely interior. Staff was helpful and had our Alhambra tickets waiting ( do have them order your tickets before , makes life so much easier ) If your driving----be sure you get all the directions to the parking lot and then take a cab to the hotel. The hotel gives you a good deal on the parking and takes care of the cab ride. If you are taking a car do not try and do it at night! Loved the hotel and the city. Will be back.
Bed was a bit hard but other than that nothing negative.
close to everything ,friendly helpful staff
bathroom a little shabby, air condioner was broke
Breakfast was the best part of the stay
Location was not the easiest to find and after our tour was cancelled and our other party arrived early to another city the hotel was not willing to modify our reservation even though it was 24 hours in advance.
Great location, very close to the Albaicín, the Alhambra and everything else around Granada. We had the family room which was spacious & perfect for our family of 4. It even had a little kitchen and lounge area which we did not expect! The whole hotel was a little like a Riad with a central courtyard and a very nice feel to it. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We liked the old time look of the hotel. It obviously has historty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is superb.
We had to haul our luggage up stone cobble stairs to reach the hotel. We couldn't figure out how to open the ancient looking door! The rooms are very small. There is no space in the bathroom for your toiletries. Hard for the female persuasion.
An interesting and comfortable hotel brilliantly located for exploring Granada
Excellent location. Beautiful building.
Breakfast not included. Expensive parking that was not that nearby. Room quite small and a bit noisey due to some kind of generator/air conditioning unit nearby.
Bathroom was too small. toilet was too closed to the shower
Staff were great very helpful and welcoming. In a great spot, their is a great personality to the hotel
I requested a quiet room - the room I was given was very noisy, but the next morning the staff agreed to move me, this room was quieter but still noisy.
Clean and quiet hotel with friendly staff. Old-fashioned interior helps you to feel yourself in a very heart of a medeival Granada. Central location makes your stay very easy. Good restaurants in the neighbourhood (approx. 10 min. walk).
