Easy excess to go to the city center.
Spacious for 2 Sufficient facilities Good area Attentive owners Lots of hot water
There was a smell of either smoke or pets I don't know which. Unfortunately it was very prominent. I think they do allow smoking, if you are adverse to this, this is not the place for you. We would not stay there again because of it, which is a shame because there are many positives.
Good location, good value for money, great view
No heating inside. Night temp down to 12 degrees made it cold inside
Loved this accommodation.perfect for beach shops and bars.very very clean and well kitted out.great stay n marta n hubby are so helpful.
About the best that can be said is that it was cheap and easy to find. Free parking. Own entrance - these properties are tiny, back-to-back holiday terraces.
Noisy - something (such as a metal gate or door) banging on roof all night long in the wind. Then more noise from one of the houses ('bungalows' in Spain) backing onto the property during the day due to refurbishment work. Not a comfortable stay!
We liked the villa but the one we had was a bit tired and could do with some TLC. The washing machine, cooker and dishwasher were great.
The beach was too far a walk for us and was all uphill on the way back. The supermarket was also a bit of a walk for us. There was only a fan in the lounge area so it was very hot. Felt that the sofa in lounge could do with a good clean up
We enjoyed everything. The place (the small two-storey house with two balconies in a row of similar small houses) was clean and cosy, with all necessary facilities for cooking and leasure. There was enough room for four of us.The neighborhood was calm and safe, and two air conditioners in the bungalow made our siestas quite relaxing. Barbara, the hostess, was very helpful, she was available by phone, and was ready to come any time when necessary. They also provide transfer to the airport.
It might be somewhat difficult for senior persons to walk down to the sea and climb back up to the bungalow. Still, the walk is pretty short. It would have been nice to have an available swimming pool nearby.
Air condition, the shower, location, balcony and Teressa
no twin bed, the third bed was not good, COCKROACHES, big ones, in the kitchen and ground floor, at least ten during our stay
The appartment is fully equiped, particularly in the kitchen you will find everything you need. Also all neccesities for "beach life" - umbrellas, seats' beach toys for kids etc - it is very handy - no need to buy it. Location - closest beach - Cabo cervera is great combination of safe sandy beach with surrounding rocky parts where kids can spend hours of crabbing. Shops and restaurants are really close. Local contacts Barbara & Marta are easygoing and friendly. Thank you
Missing internet in the appartment Torrevieja as such - it is emblematic placeof mass commercial turism with no local character or genius loci. Do not go there if you look for strolling through narrow mediterranean streets full of original atmosphere. It is just average crowded tourist resort.
Great view to the sea. A well equipped kitchen and a friendly host.
We liked everything about the area and the accommodation, perfect for a relaxing holiday with resturants , and bars close by .
There was nothing to dislike it was a perfect holiday.
Surprisingly good value for money and had much better facilities than I'd expected, even a dish washer.
Surrounded by other buildings but that seems to be the norm for the area.
Lovely accommodation. All home comforts, including dishwasher, washing machine. Fab shower. Good oven. Nice quiet location, away from road. Wifi. Nice to have plenty of towels, etc provided. Basic toiletries also available. Some useful basics in the cupboard - eg rice, salt, coffee. Books, DVD, toys for beach available for use.
Really cannot fault the accommodation. However, it is important to note that it was NOT suitable for people with reduced mobility - the "bungalow" was split over 3 levels with steep stairs and it was a steep walk to/from the beach.
Just returned from my 3rd in 3 recent trips this year to Torrevieja, always staying at Casas En La Costa, in 3 different bungalows. I've enjoyed all of my stays, and found the bungalows cosy and welcoming. The kitchens and bathrooms were well equipped, modern and spotlessly clean. The living rooms and bedrooms were comfortable. Family bungalows have wifi, which is a plus. Location is great - easy walk to nice restaurants, shops and small parks. Secure, private urbanisation on top of a hill overlooking the sea, with mainly retired year-round residents, so it is very peaceful. Easy parking, and 5 mins to beach, N332, and 10 mins to centre by car. The biggest plus for me is that my dog is welcome, and it is a very dog-friendly place to stay. Finally, I cannot fault the service. Marta is very helpful and friendly.
Nothing really, but it might be nice to have more choice of satellite channels. They are CANAL +, so mainly Spanish channels, and a lot of English news channels. Good job I like news and current affairs! Also, Wifi = + laptop or tablet, and your own entertainment. So, no, there is nothing I dislike about Casa En La Costa.
These are several different houses/apartments that appear to be other peoples' holiday homes, rented out when they're not there, and managed for them by a locally resident (Polish) mother and daughter, who are extremely helpful without being intrusive. Presumably the properties vary, but the one I stayed was very pleasant, well equipped and comfortably furnished, with a large balcony and front terrace. The area is very quiet (out of season anyway) though local restaurants and a large supermarket are in walking distance. The value for money is excellent.
Note that they're a couple of miles from Torrevieja town centre, if that matters to you, and from October to May the bus service is not frequent.
Excellent location away from main centre but easy walk to great beaches shops and restaurants. Also very peaceful and easy to park the car. Sunny balcony.
TV only gets 6 spanish channels, dvd player unreliable, no radio or CD. Poorly equiped kitchen, not suitable for self catering. Not the most comfortable beds.
all is good
The apartment was dirty. The ceiling started leaking in the rain, reason was filth that blocked the drainage system upstairs in the balcony.
