The staff was especially helpful in helping us make the most of our 2 nights in Jerez. The main part of the old town is steps away and the Carbona restaurant is right around the corner. Try the sherry tasting!
We loved this place and would highly recommend it. Breakfast particularly good & the fact that my partner's birthday was noticed when we checked in & a bottle of bubbly & 2 glasses were outside the door next morning... now that's personal service!
We liked it all but one suggestion would be that the excellent kitchen facilities would have been even better if tea bags & coffee had been provided. Just a suggestion!
Excellent location, easy to find in a complicated city and tremendous assistance from Monika Schroeder in the hotel. This is a place I would definitely recommend.
Very nice hotel in the centre of Jerez, lovely furnished, room was very comfortable, but the best thing about the hotel is the lady who runs it (unfortunately I didn't get her name) who has the best recommendations and local knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This family residence has been redone into a gracious, comfortable place from which to enjoy Jerez. Close to the center of town, it boasts an open terrace in the middle of the building which brings the outside in. The rooms are well-equipped, clean and pleasant. The manager knows everything there is to know about her city and is happy to share it with you. Take her advice about restaurants--we were thrilled with every one she pointed us toward.
The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The location is excellent. Breakfast was delicious and varied. It's a beautiful home with antique furniture, nice sized rooms and a modern bathroom. Nice bar, reading room, and roof terrace to hang out. Great value.
Wifi didn't work well in our room. Soundproof windows would really be nice, even though it does get quieter between 11pm and 7am. Would have preferred a comfortable, large bed rather than twin beds put together.
Monica, the location, the ambiance of the hotel, the views from the rooftop and the breakfast....and her staff were lovely too...
Room a little small and couldnt access the bed from both sides...
Beautiful house with lovely, luxurious and big rooms. The staff and the owner are very friendly, give useful recommendations and make you feel very welcome. Perfect location in beautiful Jerez.
Unfortunately, our room on the first floor next to the street was quite noisy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Grande. Monica and her staff did an excellent job of making our stay so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Our rooms were extremely comfortable.
The 3rd floor patio is very nice for relaxing. The breakfast is very good. The best thing is the staff who are very friendly and very helpful.
We would get the larger room next time.
Monica - extremely kind and helpful; cleanliness; stylish
Double Bed was on the small side; mattress was terrible (much too hard); single bolster pillow annoying; noise from other people in atrium (gap under door needs sound proofing); breakfast relatively expensive (so we ate in street cafes)
I was highly recommended this hotel, by a friend who has stayed here, and it exceeded my expectations, from the beautiful spacious well-appointed room looking out to the square, the welcome drink on the roof-top terrace, and kindness of staff. A lovely visit to Jerez.
Great location close to points of interest. Get there early you get free parking in the one space reserved for the hotel on the corner of the street. Good advice on local restaurants. Nice roof terrace. Lovely breakfast.
lovely ambiance. Care taken over detail and comfort. Excellent quality.
Well appointed rooms Good breakfast Very helpful host with invaluable tips on Jerez and surrounds Beautiful common areas including library and roof terrace Great value
Everything and the service-minded staff in particular!
Monica! (So very helpful, kind and welcoming). Great location. Beautiful elegant boutique hotel! Definitely stay here again. Unreservedly recommended!
Double bed was very small, mattress was too hard (resulting in aching backs in the morning), and only a single large bolster pillow was annoying for two of us
Charming hotel close to the market district, restaurants, shops in the "heart of old Jerez. Staff was outstanding - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful in every way.
Everything was prefect, from Monica excellant help, to the breakfast service, the waitress was lovely, food cook to prefection. Location just right for everything, bedroom was great, the whole hotel was beautiful, great stay and sherry tasting was wonderful
Extremely welcoming staff
Room was basic considering the cost
The hotel was ideally situated close to the centre of town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.
Lovely staff, friendly and helpful, gorgeous hotel with typical indoor Andalusian patio. Close to everywhere we wanted to be in Jerez.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely room. Very good location.
Excellent location 3 minute walk to the old town. The hotel is indeed a 'Grand house' & Monica was a great hostess. Nothing was too much Her recommendations were spot on. We hired bikes to see the old town which was much easier in the 35C heat than walking. We sampled local sherry & wine in a superb (tiny) Spanish bar with live flamenco guitar playing & singing! Memorable night!
Our standard bedroom was on the top floor which was fine with great rooftop views. It was clean & comfortable but small. Double bed was against the wall & although the bathroom was large, the shower cubicle was also very small. Had we been there for more than 1 night we would've upgraded to a superior room.
