loved the hotel and its ambiance-good location within easy walking distance of all tourist attractions.Rooms good ,clean and comfortable beds and very helpful friendly staff-will certainly return in future
Car park a bit inconvenient and pricey at 18 € per day-problem of returning the gate key.
Very peaceful although centrally located. A treat from modern hotels. Very friendly staff as well.
The amazing inner courtyards. The tiny bar where you can get an after dinner brandy with which to better appreciate those splendid courtyards. Quiet. Lively area without the associated noise
Curtains and bedware need updating. Faded m tired. The street looks unprepossessing to the point where the hotel is a very pleasant surprise. Can't expect management to update the street.
This stunning little hotel is really pretty and unique and has a magical Moorish charm. Previously a home for workers at The Palace, it has palacial traits and steeped in history.
The bedroom was cold and the air con units on the roof top of our room were noisy making it impossible to sleep. We had this fixed at 4 am but it meant that we missed a nights sleep and after several hours driving we were smashed.
This was a very beautiful historic hotel with helpful staff and a good breakfast option.
A 15 minute walk from the Giralda along quite run down back streets.
Charm, decor, rooms, breakfast, this hotel completed the circle of our perfect trip to Sevilla. I loved this city so much partially because our hotel felt so "Sevilla". Truly a beautiful hotel.
The ancient andalusian decorations. The staff. The fresh orange juice at breakfast. In the heart of the old town, just behind the Pilates House.
The heating system too noisy. The kitchinette is poor equiped, you have no cooking recipients (not even for preparing a coffee) and only 2 plates for 4 persons. The breakfast room is undersized.
Layout of hotel and general ambiance were perfect. Rooms entered directly from a series of connecting courtyards with surrounding colonnades, Moorish in feeling. Very peaceful atmosphere. Good, controllable heating in the room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Small criticisms: not suitable for disabled people: not level access, and no lift to first floor. No tea or coffee facilities in room.
A beautiful old Spanish house in a good location, plentiful continental breakfast, pleasant staff.
- two single beds pushed together instead of a double as requested, inadequate curtains (did not close properly and not blackout)
Quaint hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast. Location in old town convenient.
Location difficult to find by car. Bathroom old and small. HVAC did not work.
The location was ideal as well as the parking. We only stayed one night, we are going to go back and stay a couple nights. It is such a beautiful place. LOVED IT!
Ambiance fantastic but more suitable to warm weather, it was quite cold last week.
Beautiful setting of courtyard
No hot water for shower on one night and too hot water on another night
Genuine old style Spanish Hotel, with arches, fountains, and antique furnishings.
Showed also antique and could do with updating.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the moment we walked through the heavy wooden entrance door into the very Spanish courtyard. Great location and helpful staff.
Charming character of the 3 courtyards. The roof terrace was good. Location was excellent to walk to Cathedral and Alcazar in 15 minutes and riverside in 20- 30 minutes, exploring the lanes and shopping streets along the way.
Finding the hotel by car was a bit of a challenge (very narrow one-way streets). Part of character is that it's an old building, and some aspects were a bit querky - like the cabin bed in Room 20.
Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect building, perfect room
The breakfast could be so much better
style of the hotel with a lot of patios bedroom on three levels (living room, bedroom and roff terrace)
too rustic bathroom
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL. The rooms are lovely. The front desk staff wonderfully helpful, from the moment you step into the door. Getting there is NOT a big deal: It's a short walk from Plaza Nueva, and not a very far walk from the parking lot if you have a car. The breakfast - and free afternoon tea and sweets and sandwiches - are all terrific. We would come back in a second and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay near the main sites in Granada.
Nothing. Everything is Fabulous.
If they had wifi in the rooms could be perfect
When you step through the front door, you are pleasantly surprised with a charming courtyard...reminiscent of a time long ago. We stayed in the 2 story with our 2 daughters who were happy to have their own room.
Location of hotel Friendliness of staff Charm of hotel
coming in the ROOM who was in fact a study in total moorish style I was amazed about ca 40m2 space with a very good price for it - I will come back with other friends soon.
That in my room I could nt connect to Internet but in the public space yes
Central location, very friendly staff informal atmosphere
Great location in a beautiful building set around courtyards. The trouble shooter who resolved problems. Room we moved to after first night which was very comfortable and lovely for a Christmas treat.
The fact that 2 nights before Christmas and when the hotel was not full, we were checked into a dark, cold room without facilities. There was only one bedside table with a lamp that blew the fusebox when we turned on the TV. The freezing cold bathroom with an adobe floor which could not be cleaned and a hairdryer which didn't work. Staff who just shrugged.
