Casa Palacio Conde de la Corte  

I loved this hotel. It was originally a house belonging to a Spaniard involved in raising bulls for the bullfights and also training I would suspect. The rooms (of which there are not a lot) were stunning. Very secure. This was actually my favourite place that we had stayed in.

Easy central location, 5 mins. to all restaurants, shops, etc. Large, stylish "old age" rooms: enormous bathroom. Beautiful decor, furniture, fabrics. Very attendant staff, courteous & willing to help. Free parking on street 5 mins. walk.

A fabulous place. Rooms 103 and 203 are amazing. The staff are incredibly helpful and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

A little difficult to find but worth the effort.

Beautiful hotel, very centrally located. Staff Fernando & Pablo were very nice and very helpful. Breakfast in lovely dining room.

Parking 2-3 blocks away. On small square but all spaces taken our whole stay.

As it is off season we were upgraded to a superior room which is excellent with a huge bathroom and dressing room attached to the bedroom. The facilities, wifi and proximity to the old town is wonderful

The Casa Palacio is an amazing place to stay! If in Zafra, we would recommend this over the parador. We can't imagine the amount of money it cost to build and furnish this hisortic palace. We stayed in a superior room and it was worth every penny and more! The staff are efficient, courteous, helpful and very knowledgable about the town and surrounding area. We took more pictures of the massive suite complete with bedroom, massive bath and dressingroom than we did in all of Zafra!

There is nothing not to love!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Palacio Conde de la Corte. The hotel is beautifully decorated and preserved in it’s original grandeur. The staff is absolutely wonderful, very friendly. Truly a gem !

I really don’t want to add something negative, but if I have to, I would say: the WIFI reception is not available in your room. This is due to the original state of the building (thick walls). Nevertheless, WIFI is available in a SPLENDID salon on the first floor (the hotel has only 2 floors, so you’re never far from your room)

A very charming hotel, very nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a tranquile place with plenty of history. Also, it is conveniently located, at a walkaway distance of restaurants and stores. The only thing I would point out would be the breakfast. It's a nice continental breakfast, but at this level and price (10€), I would expect some more choice.

We stop here for only 1 night. Zafra is a small town and it was a lovely surprise. This hotel was a great choice. Beautiful andaluzian house, spacious rooms, great terrace in the top with great views to the city and churches towers, and a swimming pool in a lovely and fresh garden. Friendly staff with good recomendations to what to see and where to eat.

We liked the attention to detail, the spaciousness, the comfort. It was the best hotel we stayed in during our 6 week tour around Spain and the UK.

At Casa Palacio Conde de la Corte, the high standard of hospitality, sense of history, architectural elegance & charming garden were all enormously appealing characteristics. The Staff were superb in terms of their service ethic and friendliness. We felt pampered throughout our stay, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely magnificent! For those travelling by car, there was free parking on the street right outside the hotel. In terms of shopping in Zafra, luxury items were very well-priced, and there were also many fine dining and rustic dining options to choose from. At night, the main square in the historic area was wonderfully vibrant, and merely a short walk away from the hotel. We enjoyed a blissful stay at Casa Palacio Conde de la Corte, and we shall return in future. 10/10.

The ambience, lovely patio garden. Very helpful staff, genuinely concerned that we enjoy our stay. Room beautifully furnished in "noble style".

Shower left a lot to be desired (although the bathroom was otherwise excellent).

We were delighted with the professionalism and great attitude of the staff. The hotel lived up to it's reputation and we received the most excellent service.

An old white cradle in the room is a little too much!

Fab. Superb historic building, great staff. We were lucky with parking outside but may need to be arranged at a sister hotel nearby. Very good breakfast and excellent staff.

Schönes Haus und hübsche Zimmer.

Miserables Frühstück. Das Kümmerlichste, was ich seit langer Zeit in einem Hotel bekomen habe. Zimmer zur Strasse laut.

El hotel, en general muy bonito, es un hotel con encanto. Cuidan con gran esmero todos los detalles

La qualité de l'accueil et l'excellent positionnement de l'emplacement ainsi que le confort de la chambre et le charme du petit dejeuner.

Quelques défauts de maintenance des équipements (ampoule & tuner TNT en panne).

Wunderschön gestaltetes altes Stadtpalais. Sehr große komfortable Zimmer ( Standardzimmer hatte mit Bad und Ankleidezimmer ca.35 m2 ) Unbedingt ins Plaza Grande (einfaches Hostal am Hauptplatz) zum Essen gehen! - Äußerst schmackhafte Küche zu sensationellen Preisen !

Das karge Frühstück passt überhaupt nicht zum Stil des Hauses !

Splendide maison pleine d'atmosphère et de souvenirs du passé. Très belle chambre.J'ai aimé les salons avec leurs livres d'art et la belle salle à manger ou l'on se sent comme chez des amis. Personnel très attentionné et aimable.Accès en voiture aisé, il suffit de suivre les flêches.

Ancien palais plein de charme. Beau mobilier ancien. Excellent accueil. Chambre confortable et calme.

Todo el personal fue muy amable; el hotel muy bueno. Nos ofrecieron una habitación de superior categoría por el mismo precio. La situación ideal. La decoración muy original y personalizada.

Por poner una pequeña pega, las almohadas. Había 4, pero las 2 bajas eran demasiado bajas y las 2 altas eran demasiado altas. Esto va en el gusto de cada cual.
