A quiet sleepy village.
A quiet sleepy village. We booked a table for 9 in the cafe within the municiple swimming pool complex for 8.30pm re a birthday. By 9pm it was like the whole village had gone there to eat. We had a fantastic night. A chemist and supermarket were open daily.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with good facilities. The staff at the hotel always go out of their way to make us feel welcome and the restaurant serves the loveliest food alongside impeccable service. Finally the pool area is a great size and rarely are there ever more than two or three other guests using it. This is why we return again and again.

Whilst the hotel is next to a road, the view from my bedroom and the restaurant terrace was countryside; it was quiet and i slept well. The pool was closed (5 Oct) but I noticed a pool towel and sunbed cushion in the wardrobe - nice touch.

And the service could not have been better. When I mentioned in passing that we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday, we returned to our suite to find a cake, a chilled bottle of champagne, and a lovely note. We were totally charmed.

Lovely outside areas with pool at the rear. Restaurant and bar on site which was very nice. We enjoyed dinner on our second night and the food was excellent. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of fresh produce. I would certainly recommend and would stay again if in the area.
