Score from 471 reviews Wonderful
The scenery ,horses and wildlife on the Finca, the excellent treatment from staff and as it's our third stay the familiar surroundings.
Dinner was not as good as last time. The menu listed items that were not available. The standard of presentation was poor and no effort had been made to make Valentines dinner special...at least a rose for the ladies!
A excellent location surrounded with nature where you can disconnect and recharge your batteries.Good nature sights you can do trekking or ride on horse. Good breakfast for its quality, with typical bread of Malaga called 'mollete', orange fresh juice, ham and jam. Nice staff, facilities, comfort and it has a good value for money.
In my opinion it is very expensive ride on horse.
Bedroom was nice, place was spacious but just lacked some homely touches. Feeling of being out in the country with animals roaming freely.
We were unfortunate with the weather as it blew a gale all night making it difficult to sit outside and enjoy the peace and crafty indoors - no accounting for the weather though.
A great country estate, nice surroundings with ducks, geese, peacocks, horses etc. Very large room with nice sitting area with a wood burning stove fireplace. Very comfortable. Restaurant had great food and the staff of the whole place were really nice. Very nice and relaxing stay...it is a gem of a place.
Gaining entry initially was a little complicated, but once you get a hang of it, you will wonder why you did not think of the way when you first arrived.
Location to Ronda town Open country location Rustic surroundings
On our visit 2 years ago we thought it both quaint and quirky. This 2nd visit quickly dispelled those memories. This will be our last visit to Fincas Los Pastores
Location, rural style, quite
Lack of heating even though they tried To set it up on 3 different Rooms. Terribly cold rooms No lights available at the entrance even though is in the middle of nowhere, very hard to find during the night, 6.30pm Poor internet signal in rooms
We had a lovely room with a fireplace. The breakfast was great and we loved the animals roaming freely in the wonderful garden. Los Pastores is just a few kms out of Ronda, but it feels like the countryside.
Beautiful estate with amazing views and animals
Our Bedroom very dark and cold as lower ground floor
Probably if you book through booking.com you get the most dark apartment without any view; you are nearly lodged in a cave. The way towards the hotel does not allow passing of two cars; you risk to be blocked every time you want to get out. The swimming pool was simply dirty
the place looks fantastic, very special setting. easy to find with good signalling on the road. we had an independent room, with a little outside patio, and the decoration is lovely. the food at the restaurant is incredible as well, tasty home-cooked meals. there are lots of animals, and paths to explore. waking up and finding bunnies outside your door is really quite something.
the bed was not very comfortable, i think the mattress needs an update. in october the room was quite dark and damp, though it was sunny outside. we should have probably turned on the AC but did not think about it at the time. it must be great in the hot summer months.
Peaceful location away from all the tourists. Grounds were nice with animals and a playground for the kids. Stayed in an apartment that was nice for our family of 4.
Lacked the personal touch that I expected at a small place like this. Staff was friendly but not terribly knowledgable.
Wonderful place, loads of character and a very relaxing environment.
Food appeared to come cooked straight from the freezer.
Rooms were lovely and very clean.
Our room did not have enough light. The chandelier had 3 out of 12 working lightbulbs - great for atmosphere, but terrible for seeing! Would have liked a lamp on the desk and lamps on the bedside tables.
Good dinner, copious breakfast, surroundings, no extra charge for kids - good and friendly staff
It is all still nice - but the farm needs very soon more attention and up keeping
beautiful pastoral setting
more care needs to be given to ensure clients can get in the gate
We arrived for our 24 wedding anniversary and we got a lovely warm welcome and a lovely bottle of cava to celebrate our arrival, the place is stunning and lovely to see all the animals roaming round freely. The bed was so comfortable we slept well.
The only problem which is quite a big problem i think was that our bathroom in room 2 smelt of bad drains , it was terrible and got worse the 2 days we were there. This needs sorting and as i see from other reviews the hotel has had this complaint lots of times so they should really act on the problem .
The setting was beautiful and the variety of other guests was interesting. The very limited range of food choice was well cooked. One member of staff was very helpful and tried to compensate. Otherwise the staff was surely.
Problems with shower, and drain smell was not acted upon over 5 days. Lighting in room was appalling and clothes hanging space was unusable. Breakfast was barely adequate and dinner was very limited and served tepid with no vegetable option. Deserts were very poor, appeared bought in. No lighting in car parking area and no drop off point at reception.
The setting, the myriad of animals, peacocks on our balcony each morning.Beautifully kept landscaped grounds. delicious food, cooked to order in their restaurant. Massive comfortable bed, enormous wall mounted flat screen tv, great kitchen and walk in wet room style shower. Each "Cottage" looked traditional on the outside but was modern and luxurious on the inside. We have never stayed anywhere like it before, it was just wonderful, Oh, did I mention the two swimming pools? If you like comfort, magnificent scenery in a garden setting and animals then this is the place for you. Only 15 min. drive from Ronda too
Seriously, there are peacocks and rabbits just hanging out by the pool. And a beautiful white horse. Also, the fried chorizo from the restaurant is quite special.
I once got woken up in the night by a peacock.

Nothing All was ok
The overall natural ambience of the property
Unfortunately we were on a motorcycle and he entrance procedure and access road was most unsuitable and not recommended for motorcyclists
The location, the peace and quiet of the area.our apartment which was very comfortable and spacious.beautiful large swimming pool surrounded by mature trees.easy parking and close to Ronda.
Shower drain which was blocked with other guests hair. Charming staff, but inadequately trained to provide a 5+ service. Such potential but the reality is somehow lacking.
The location and the surroundings are beautiful and at times it seemed like you were in a scene from Alice in Wonderland, with peacocks and fluffy rabbits roaming the grounds. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you, also the swimming pools were great for kids.
The night we stayed there was a large party taking place which included 2 large tepees for the children and a lots of people taking over most of the grounds and hotel for all of Sat and Sunday morning. We felt like an after thought and the kitchen was so run off it's feet we waited 90 mins for lunch and breakfast was a battle and only included a choice of 1 x roll OR croissant with jam plus coffee/juice. Not great for the £200 we paid for 1 night stay and 1 small lunch.
Everything was excellent!
They do not speak English ;(
Brilliant all round. Horseback riding beautiful rooms Everything u want loved it
