quality/price rate. we had a car and we could park it just in front of the hotel. it's about 2 km walking distance ftom the town centre, 30 min on foot...to us that do not mind walking at all was perfect
The free parking In large lot nearby. The impressive view over the city from the room. The local atmosphere at breakfast in the attached restaurant.
Being told insistently upon arrival that our room rate did not include breakfast when we had paid for it and it was clearly stated in Spanish on the voucher. Problem was sorted out the next morning when another staff member arrived.
Spectacular view of Malaga from our private huge terasse. Nice quarter. Staff was friendly, although pretty busy serving both the neighbour restaurant and the reception at the same time. Exceptionally cheap.
Barking dogs were very noisy and annoying. Bad smell in the room.
Excellent value, fab location, lovely and helpful staff (even with the language barrier!), good size room with both air con and heating (nights got a bit cold in December), manned reception, plenty of amenities very close by, very short walk into the centre of Malaga
Door bolted from the inside, you could not lock the actual lock from the inside of the room. Not a big deal at all though.
We have had a very good time. For this price a exellent hotel.
Perfect. Pefect and kind stuff, peaceful place...parking nearness,
everything was ok
- friendly staff - location - bus straight to the city center (taxi is about 7eur) - good wifi
- the beds are not really comfortable
Staff were attentive and most helpful, Free WiFi, food and drink inexpensive, Bus stop into Malaga located within yards of the property.
Free parking right next to it. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Safe area.
If you dont go by car/bus it takes 30min walking to city centre. It can get noisy in the night when other clients enter their rooms. No fridge in the room.
In my life I never was in worse hotel. We were on the -1 level,on the bed was someone else's hair,no fridge, room and bedding ,in the room the smell was unbearable, the reception man was man in a late 70's,and he does not know a word of English, old towels...Bad location. In the middle of nowhere. It was a terrible experience.
- Very nice staff, Told us a bunch of things in Spanish we couldn't understand but friendly and helpfull for sure. - We did understand the bus stop right next to the hotel, just 1,30 from or to centre. You could walk it but it's a good and steep walk! - free parking space right across hotel! - clean room with all facilities needed.
- Definitly not the best room, right across reception, view was a wall. - 75 euro was our most expensive room on our trip which was overpriced. - last bus to hotel is at about 20:00. - spain has only 1 language, spanish.
Air conditioning working, clean and nice room.
Staff could be a little more friendly, but nothing to worry about.
recommended only for short (overnight) stays
no secure parking (parking on the street), staff speaks only spanish
- Friendly and helpful staff - Very nice view over Malága - Bus station in front of the pension - Free parking - Room cleaned every day
- 30 Minutes walk to the city center - Kitchen closed in the evening - Some strange people hang out at the restaurant day and night
Staff is very friendly and excellent and the room was clean and comfortable.:) Thank you for everything.
Me and my friend stayed there for 4 nights. We felt very welcomed. Ricardo was very kind and answered on every question and gave us all information we were looking for. It is very handy that hotel has it's own restaurant-bar with the best olives in Spain! Our room was very clean! The hotel is just 20 min walk from sea if you can stay away from all the shops on your way to the sea :), for us it took a bit longer :)
The smell of toilet in hall, but we didn't smell it in our room, so it didn't bother us.
lovely family hotel hospitable, friendly proprietor good restaurant free parking bus station near hotel
The owners were lovely and helpful. The guest house was in a really beautiful on a hill location with great views.
Very authentic family-run hotel, lovely view over the city. Staff did not speak any English but man on reception was so nice and really tried his best to tell us where we could eat etc. Free parking over the road which was a bonus. There are some decent little cafés nearby if you walk down towards the town. Coffee in room was a nice touch and the wifi worked fine.
Nothing! Lovely little B&B, perfect for a couple of nights!
authentic atmosphere, friendly staff, nice view; optimal starting point also for trips outside malaga.
howling of the wind was almost unbearable on some nights.
Clean, very friendly, lent us an umbrella when it was raining, comfortable bed, amazing views of Malaga from our bedroom window.
Bathroom tiny, but it was not a problem for us.
The rooms were super-clean and comfortable, and the view over Malaga was amazing. While it's a bit far to walk to the city center, there are some restaurants in 5 minutes walking distance.
Homely feel to hotel, Staff very helpful, lovely home cooked Tapas available in bar adjacent to hotel. (Also try one of Antonio's, Gin & tonics). Regular bus stops right outside hotel to take you into Malaga City.
We didn't mind, but the hill up to the hotel is a little bit steep! Giving great views. There is the bus service, the last bus does return a bit early for those who enjoy the night life. But Taxi fares are very reasonable.
