Bad WiFi in the room

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were spacy, nicely decorated, clean. No noise from the street. 2 minutes from a metro station.

Breakfast was very basic, not much choice, i wouldn't go for breakfast in the hotel next time. Room walls were very thin- you could hear clearly voices, TV sounds in next rooms.

It's near to everything!!! In the heart of Madrid! I definitely recommend the place. The hotel is near the police station too! So you will feel safe. We picked the best hotel!

Great localization

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The Metro was only a few metres away and the hotel was close to the palace and the cathedral. Good value for money.

There was some traffic noise from the street but not enough to became a much of a problem.

Comfort Staff Location

Generally everything. Location, rooms and breakfast all excellent.

Horribly noisy at the weekends, both to internal and external noise, couldn't sleep at all but during the week was fine. Rooms generally excellent but mini bar would be nice.

The location and service were great!

There could have been more English channels on TV and better pastry for breakfast.

Location excelent nearby metro and most of interesting stuff in the city. Breakfast was OK and staff friendly.

Not a penaulty just considerations. Since it's located on a very thin street most of noises from outside easily reach the room ... most of them stoped by midnight.

* It was quite hot in the room, but most probably because I stayed there in April, it was hot outside, but centralized air conditioning was not yet on. * Breakfast starts a bit late (7:30) which may be not too convenient for people who need to rush through entire city to be in the office by 9:00

The staff were very friendly eager to help. Everyone spoke english well. The breakfast buffet was very good and the room was modern and well furnished. The location was very close to the metro and big city attractions.

The bed/pillow were a bit hard.

I like the position, the staff quality (speaking also italian), the price.

Clean, friendly, comfortable, convenient to Metro, and if you prefer, walking, within any place in central Madrid (defined as P. de Alcantara- Museo Prado- Museo Thyssen - Museo Sofia - Retiro -Chueca -Conde- P. de Sol. - P. Mayor. -Latina -Palacio Real- Opera- P. Santo Domingo and P. de Espana -a block away from the hotel). I would definitely reccommend it. Close to good restaurants (Spanish, of course, Latin American, and other, E.G. Lebanese, Thai, Chinese...)

I liked everything, But for the morally squeamish American it might be an issue that the hotel is in a neighborhood in transition: some sex clubs in a very safe neighboorhood - completely legal.

Good location close to the metro and very easy to get to the airport from the city (5 minute walk to the metro, only one transfer to the airport line). Close the Royal Palace and the Egyptian Temple in Park Oeste.

It was on a quiet side street, but that meant a further walk from the higher density of restaurants closer to the main plazas. Maybe a 15 to 20 minute walk to these.

Location was in city centre and walking distance to all sights. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The walls in the rooms were very thin, could hear everything through the walls. We stayed over New Years and understand that it can be loud, but there was constant noise during the other nights making it very hard to sleep. Invest in ear plugs if you want to sleep.

The room was too small and cramped. And for us it is standard to have a kettle in the room with some coffee to have some in the morning. We find this service even in hostels around Europe, so we expected this in a four star hotel.
