Nice quiet area, good facilities and very convenient for access by tram into Alicante centre! Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Wifi access not so great.
good value clean staff very good and helpful wifi didnt eat so cant comment
Excellent reception staff-the best we have met in Spain.Lovely clean hotel in a kovely neighbourhood. Easy access to tram and buses.Very nice swimming pool .Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard This hotel is a credit to its management.
Nothing to dislike.
Can't beat the location.Jose Antonio was very helpful. Hopelessly clean with great transport links.
Beds not too comfortable. Mugs in dining room would be nice.
Great value hotel, well located. Playa de San Juan beach is about a 3 minute walk away. Theres a pharmacy close by, a supermarket and a great little bakers also. Cleanliness was a top priority when we stayed Aug/Sept 2014. I saw the pool cleaned twice in seven days by a professional pool cleaner.
Website said the WiFi was free, it wasn't, not even in foyer. (Booking.com website.) Other than that there was nothing I would complain about.
Rooms cleaning was loud and disturbing from 8am. Also, the next room's balcony almoast open between rooms and the neabors very loud.
rather expensive for the type of hotel and service
Bus stop outside the door to Alicante . Tram across the road . Fab beach and promenade 200yds from hotel , plenty restaurants nearby . Will return.
The man at reception was very efficient and very good when we had a problem. Room was clean and sufficient, shower in the bathroom was very good too,.
The staff in General were excellent but In the evening I was at reception with a spanish friend who was trying to ask a question. The girl at reception although she was busy on the phone could have been more polite even just to look at us to let us know she would attend to us shortly. Wifi needs to be updated..
Location to beach supermarket excellent. Rooms spacious with comfortable beds and fab air con. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice to enjoy! The rooms was cleaned to a high standard each day. And I felt we had a lot for our money.
Didn't like that we had to pay on a daily basis for the safe ! It's not even the cost , you should lose that in the price of the hotel. That's my only constructive say.
Food and cleanliness
Had to pay extra for eggs at breakfast and not allowed to take morning cuppa from restaurant to room
Location. Clean rooms
We have never been in a hotel, where is no vegetable on the breakfast. We were told to pay extra for this. The staff of the restaurant don't speak english.
lovely welcoming hotel with a nice pool that anyone could access, I believe that is not the case with all hotels in Alicante. we were just half a minute walk from the beach and we could see it from our balcony, comfortable room really enjoied our stay. right outside is the bus that would bring you into alicante which we did then for restaurants and some drinks out, there would be a night bus that would then bring you back but we got a taxi back to the hotel, 10 min drive and usually cost about E12.00 at the most. It is in a quiter area than Alicante city itself, but the beach was much longer and nicer than the one in Alicante and it was so close to this hotel. had a great stay here.
internet access is weak in the rooms you would mainly need to use it in the lobby or bar.
great location near beach shops restaurants very clean & quiet
I liked the fact that I could get a good nights sleep. The bus service was excellent only 1.45 euro to get to the centre of Alicante. The pool in the hotel was lovely and the beach was great and just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
The understanding of the English language was very poor with the Spanish in general. A lot of the restaurants around the hotel didnt even have english on their menu it was like they only wanted the Spanish people there. I thought the hotel itself could have provided some form of entertainment in the evenings - there was no holiday atmosphere whatsoever in the hotel.
I like the location, near the Beach and easy to travel with bus and train. I like the area, quiet and very Nice people around in the shops.
I with there was a refrigirator in the room.
It was nice and peaceful always able to get a sun bed round the pool. Very friendly staff at the bar rooms very clean
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, which for us playing golf every day was important. Great location by the beach and close to Golf course and tennis courts and tram line.
No issues at all.
Great location one block from the beach. Close proximity to the tram to Benidorm, Altea etc. good price.
No wifi anywhere in the room. Signs apologizing for the poor wifi but even had trouble getting it in the lobby. In this day and age, unforgivable!
Like the location
Lack of kettle in the room
Close to the sea, nice view, cleaning every day.
No fridge in a room, wi-fi is good only in the social areas.
Room and location
Hotel is clean and tidy; although rather dated, our double bed was very comfortable except for the hard pillows! Location for San Juan beach, restaurants, shops, is very good, and our reason for choosing this hotel for our stay.
Hotel doesn't offer exchange facility and when asked were the nearest place would be, simply said, 'I don't know'. FYI, its either Alicante town centre or Benidorm; thankfully we had a car! The area around the pool is really small with very limited sunbeds and sun shades. Also, they don't offer a room to shower & change, if you have a late flight; you can, however, arrange late check out (16.00hrs) for a rather expensive price of 30e, normal check out being 12 noon.
The cleanliness? Transport was fantastic from the hotel as bus stop outside open terrace of hotel bar. Fantastic Indian restaurant few doors up from hotel
Lack of entertainment in the evenings Poor choice of places too eat as resort still not open yet
I loved the fact that it was located so near the beach. The night staff was excellent and had a lot of English. Others were ok, the cleaning ladies were very nice. The rooms were kept very clean.
The pool was freezing and not really clean. Also continental breakfast I was charged 8€ for a child, was extremely expensive. I was a student and single mother traveling with a teenager this was very expensive so I was unable to get breakfast at the hotel for the rest of the week.
