Had three wonderful nights at the castle to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. The castle is just superb and the room we had in the tower was stately. The staff were very hospitable and the service top class. From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIPs/royals. The food was better than and at least as good as winning professional Masterchef food we have eaten in the UK. Our only disappointment was having to leave the castle! Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway! Just superb.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel was tasteful. We ate at night in the restaurant which was very good. I would stay at this hotel again.

The staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. Staying in a castle was fun and reading a little about the history made it seem more authentic. The rooftop terrace had great views.

We stayed in one of the ground floor guard tower rooms. Our first night the people above us were very loud and walked around for hours nonstop (no exaggeration) both late and very early. There wasn't a lot of soundproofing in the ceiling so it was loud and difficult to ignore. Luckily they checked out and we didn't have any other issues.
