Bungalows Castillo Beach  

Christmas 2011. stayed in one bedroomed, self catering bungalow, on arrival found it to be very clean and very well equiped, cooker, oven, toaster, kettle, juicer, top of the range microwave, tv /dvd player, (dvd's available from reception) shower / bath plenty of hot water.......clean towels, hair dryer,,,,,,,,nice clean beds & bed linen, extra blankets for cold chilly nights,,,,,,,,nice complex with local bars & shops.......very clean, good sized swimming pool, 10-15 min walk to the town & harbour,(can be hard going coming back as up hill),,,,,great places to eat.......(reasonably priced) for those who don't want the walk, get the silly train outside reception. Does a return journey to the town for just 1 euro, (each way) excursions available,,,,,,feed chipmunks at the harbour, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to all who want the freedom of a self catering holiday, would go back tomorrow.......if only...............loved it.........

Proximity to ammenities was very good. Beautiful pool.

Would have been nice to have a restaurant on immediate vicinity.

The pools and grounds where very well kept, the tropical bar run by kieron was good especially the happy hours 2 for 1 you where made to feel very welcome the little train that goes every 20 mins or so is value for money at 1 euro each way if you cant be bothered to walk down into the town or back as it is uphill but not steep if you want a very quite holiday this is the place to stay

The apartments could do with some updating even though we had the one with the oven, ceramic hob, juicer etc, the area it is in is a 10 min walk down into calleta de fuste, there is no where near by that is decent to eat at and it was very very quite but it was just after new year. english tv channels are very limited and the tv wasnt very good in our apartment

The bungalow kitchen is fully equipped with all what is needed. A bathroom is also OK, the towels are changed regularly. You can see the sea through the window. The location (Calete de Fuste) is perfect for traveling around the island because it is the centre.

Sometimes hot water ran out, beds are single and not very comfortable or couples.

I stayed in other complexes charging a similar rate per week in Fuerteventura. Based on this, I was disappointed overall with this complex. We stayed for 2 weeks and after 10 days we had to ask to have our sheets changed, even though it states in the brochure that this is done once a week. We also had problems with our taps in the kitchen and bathroom and running water. Our apartment was left uncleaned for 4 full days and when I brought this to the attention of the reception, the receptionist said that I would have to wait till the following day as my apartment was on the list for Tuesday. I concluded that the apartment would be not be cleaned three times a week as specified as the checkout was 10am Saturday. Our apartment was full of ants, it needed a good lick of paint and was shabby. I found the staff in general somewhat discourteous. I am fluent in 3 languages and am making allowances for linguistic differences. On checking out, the receptionist just handed me my 20 euro deposit back for the remote, proceeded to deal with the next customer and never asked if she could order me a taxi, be of further assistance or whether I enjoyed my stay. This is basic hospitality.I would not return to this complex again. I found their general attitude a lot to be desired. The accommodation in the complex is in need of renovation and a good clean. I do not think it is suitable, even on a budget rate and it is also a fair distance from the centre and the beach.

Aunque el apartamento era pequeño para las 4 personas, se notaba que los muebles y electrodomésticos eran nuevos.

La limpieza brillaba por su ausencia. En 6 días no nos cambiaron las sábanas ni una vez y las toallas sólo 2 veces. Había una chica de la limpieza por cada 40 apartamentos, es decir, que no venían ni a reponer el papel higiénico. Además, el día que nos íbamos, nos querían cobrar 25€ supuestamente por dejar el apartamento 3 horas más tarde, lo cual era mentira. La piscina también estaba sucia.

No esta muy cerca de la playa, los apartamentos estan muy juntitos y son pequeñitos pero estaba limpio y las piscinas comunitarias estaban bien. Faltaría aire acondicionado... Conseguimos un buen precio a traves de booking, por eso relacion calidad precio no estaba mal.

El horario tan corto de la recepcion.

Lo que mas me gusto fue la tranquilidad que habia en ese lugar. Es un lugar muy tranquilo.

La limpieza la verdad no me gusto mucho que digamos...

Las sabanas rotas, las toallas viejas y rotas, la bañera sucia, el suelo lleno de pelos, un asco... Pero al menos la responsable del complejo una vez que hablamos con ella nos arreglo el problema dandonos dos apartamentos en la zona nueva (reformada por un touroperador britanico)... Eso ya es otra cosa...
