Hotel Catalán  

Clean and functional, all very well presented and you get an impression of a well kept if a little dated hotel. The rooms were basic, but very clean. We used this hotel as a base to get to the Circuito de Jerez and for that it was really good. The bar and restaurant are both good and all of the staff in both the hotel and bar were very helpful and pleasant.

An almost overwhelming 'airfreshener' type smell in our room. It was so strong we both ended up feeling a little overwhelmed at one point and had to get out of the room. Maybe it's something they used to clean with or it's piped through, but it needs to stop!

Unfortunately, we didn't like much about this hotel.

Poor location, removed from almost everything, with no local transport near. Very plain, almost sterile atmosphere. The restaurant was not special at all and overpriced.

I liked staying at Catalán. The staff was very frendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Good value for money.

Few of the staff spoke english so it would have helped to have written informations in english available, for example about transportations to and from Puerto Real by train, bus or taxi. There was no way to ask people around since nobody seems to undarstand any english.

Good location close to the highway, 10km to the center of Cadiz. Great locastion if you have a car. The lady at the desk was very helpful, cheerful, pleasant and polite. Explained everything and answered to every question. Room clean and well equiped. A bit old fashioned but let's be honest - it's a budget hotel. The hotel has it's bar/restaurant so you can get a breakfast if it's not included in a room price) or sth. To drink.

I drove to the hotel by car using gps. Well... It's not at the Av. De la Constitucion. To be precise (if you want to look it up at google maps) the hotel is near the roundabout/crossing of two streets: Ctra de Paterna and Camino de Gamboa. I thing this might be useful - the hotel should update it's description of how to get there.

Atención y trato personal exquisito muy atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo lo que puedan. Limpieza impecable especialmente en las habitaciones. Hotel familiar y cocina casera excelente y económica.Nos sentimos como en casa.Muy recomendable!!!

El personal, muy simpático

El personal es excelente en el trato, las habitaciones son muy limpias.

No tienen calefación, sólo bomba de calor y se pasa frío... la TV no coge apenas cadenas, es muy vieja, son habitaciones muy viejas y las camas no son confortables.

Muy mala insonorización en las habitaciones, así como un mal funcionamiento del aparato de calefacción/aire, y constantes cortes en el suministro eléctrico. También había una pérdida de agua en el suelo del aseo.

, All'esterno alla mattina c'era un po di confusione!! Aggiungo che Cadice e' bellissima ma Puerto Real e' un paese piccolo x cui non si trova molto da fare!!

La properé des lieux.

Personnel peu aimable et peu compétent (très différent de tout le personnel hotelier rencontré dans tous les hotels de 1 à 4 étoiles en Andalousie pendant un séjour de 14 jours ). Chambre non fumeurs réservée: chambre fortement désodorisée à notre arrivée, de fait empestant les produits chimiques. Une ampoule électrique absente dans lampe en tête de lit laissant à portée de main des parties métalliques pouvant être sous tension!!!! Petit déjeuner lamentable: café et thé réclamés maintes fois; raisin imprégné d' odeur de viande faisandée. Tarif obscur: la tva n'apparait pas sur l'annonce du site. En Bref: hotel à fuir assurément.

hotel comodo y economico, lo mejor para ser un hotel sencillo es la comodidad de sus camas y sobre todo su limpieza.

Il soggiorno presso questa struttura era dovuto alla necessità di stoppare un lungo trasferimento. L'hotel è in una zona periferica della città ma l'aspetto intorno è molto gradevole; Il raccordo dell'autostrada è a circa 1km (ideale se si vuole visitare la zona intorno, tipo Cadiz....) Ho raggiunto l'hotel in modo facile (mi ero solo informato con maps su quale uscita dell'autostrada prendere) Molto amabile e professionale la ragazza della reception di nome eva alla quale mando un caloroso saluto.

Удобно, что рядом с отелем есть парковка. Найти отель по координатам с GPS очень легко. (Тем, кто путешествует не на машине, лучше туда не ехать). Не ожидали, что простынь после пролитых нескольких капель вина поменяют по собственной инициативе, за что спасибо! Убирались в номере каждый день. Wifi работал без нареканий.

На boking просили double bed, эту просьбу проигнорировали - мы получили разъезжающиеся кровати с неудобными матрасами. Слышимость в отеле потрясающая - если соседи вернулись в 4 утра, то их приветствует весь отель. ТВ - можно считать, что его нет - все каналы работают с задержками звука и искажениями изображения. Больше всего нас порадовал визит полиции в 8-45 утра с просьбой предъявить документы и сообщить цель визита. Потом портье честно признался, что обо всех посетителях он, как благопристойный горожанин, сообщает в полицию.
