Catalonia Catedral  

Location cannot be beat. Just a few steps from the Barcelona cathedral and within walking distance of most of Barcelona. Rooms were very comfortable and quite spacious for a city hotel. Staff was very helpful. Would most definitely stay here again on my next trip to Barcelona.

Superb! Location is fantastic,just 400 meter walk from centre square Placa de Catalunya where u arrive with aerobus from Airport (5 euro) . very quiet as on a beautifull shopping street where no cars/metro (Avinguda Portal LÁngel) ! From the outside oldfashioned pink building on the inside modern spacious and design! We had cornerroom 403 with own terrace and private entrance to rooftoppool! Room and bathroom big just like having your own luxury appartement in the centre of Barro Gotico area next to Cathedral. Beds/Mattrass super , very quiet and clean Hotel with fantastic staff!!! Breakfast /restaurant/lobby /Bar all is good and free use of Hotel Laptop! Nice Hotel amenities ,watercooker etc. Had breakfast in Hotel once (16 euro pp) and after that around the corner cafe /tapasbar Edelmann for just 2 euro!!! We stayed 3 nights for 555 euro,was worth every penny! Next time definitely will stay at Catalonia Catedral again!!!! Walk to Beach 15 mins just straight ahead through Catedral Gates...and from beach to Casino/Port Area and to Sagrada Familia and back to centre via Passeig de Gracia , don't need Bus if u like walking! On your doorstep all the nice shops/Tapasbars (8.95 glass of cava and tapas!) and also the Ramblas just 300 meters away.

No dogs allowed! I have a 2 kilo dog which I sometimes take on Citytrips so then will have to choose for an other Hotel unfortunately! For example at The Palace Hotel dogs are allowed!

Easy location to get around all over the city. Our room was quiet at night so we slept well.

We arrived late so our room was gone and were put in a better room for 1 night only. It had 2 totally separate beds pushed together instead of a king size. We moved the next day to a room that had all the bathroom shower and sink faucets missing parts. After calling they came up and put bathroom back together. Inconvenient for us for first several days of our stay.

Location is excellent, could not be better. Very comfortable bed and materials used are high quality. Roof terrace was a BIG +. ;-)

Internet doesn't work from thursday to tuesday, but it was a small problem in excellent hotel.

Every staff member we met was incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived in the morning and were able to get into one of our 2 rooms right away. Rooms are very modern and comfortable - lots of pillows. This hotel is very convenient to all the hotspots of Barcelona. A fantastic small hotel in the middle of everything. By the end of our 3- night stay, we felt like family. Special thanks to Kyle the Spanish- Canadian staff member who made us feel at home immediately.

Hotel restaurant menu was very limited.

Spacious room and bathroom. Clean. Comfortable beds. Easy to get to from the airport with Aerobus. Located close to main things to see: La Rambla, Gothic Cathedral, Plaça Catalunya, shopping...

... but also located on a busy pedestrian street where it can be noisy at any time of the day or night. Light sleepers might be bothered.

Booked thinking this was the "barcelona catedral" hotel, where we have stayed before and is around the corner. This one not as good and not worth 200 euros a night - rooms small, bed v uncomfortable.

Very friendly staff, great location, in the heart of the city

It is a perfect location right next to the Barcelona Cathedral. You are on a pedestrain street which is perfect for shopping and dining. Easy access to local buses and walking for sight seeing. The old town was very nice to stay in and quiet at night. If you have a car park in the Cathdral parking lot.

Very good location, clean, quite and cosy.

The internet did not work most of the time even though I could connect to WiFi. It was unexpected as I had some work to do during my stay.

The friendly ness of the suff, quality of rooms

Major improvement could be achieved by having the pull on the roof with hot water in the winter, that could be major attraction, we would love it.
