The Staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, very close to Diagonal metro station. The room was very clean. Worth a second stay and will recommend this hotel to friends.

After staying in the spacious room w/ wooden floors and walls, who wants to stay in a modern hotel? Feels luxurious (huge towels) for so much less. No more chain hotels for me after this! Lots of nice, less tourist-y eating places around, quieter neighborhood, but still within 2-5 min walk of 2 metro stops. And some Gaudis nearby. About 15-20 min walk from more central landmarks. Friendly and helpful staff.

The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a balcony which looked out over the main street but the 2x balcony doors blocked out all road noise and the blackout curtains had us believing it was the middle of the night when in fact we had overslept to 11am. The hotel was located within a short walk from the metro and a longer but very manageable walk to the centre for two twenty something year old girls. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The interior was dated but the value for money definitely made up for that. There was no kettle in te room which is unusual but we didn't ask for one either, maybe we could have requested one.

Location is very good, straight at Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. Closeby metro and trainstation, great location to discover Barcelona.

Not really up to a 4* standard. Rooms are pretty standard, more on a 3* level. Beds are really hard, didn't feel very comfortable. Room with no view (concrete walls) and a window that couldn't open. Check-in staff wasn't really friendly. During check-in I was immediately presented my bill and without being noticed in advance my creditcard was billed even before signing off any papers or having the chance to check the room. Apparently that's standard "service" when you book through booking.com. I've slept in hotels in the same area which were way better and more comfortable for the same price or even less.
