Friendly staff, nice rooms, clean bathrooms, very close to park well and underground stop.

I´d reduce the price of the breakfast.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very very much and would surely stay there again. The staff was truly amazing. Special mentions would be the reception staff: Daniel, Ricard and Carlos. I was travelling sola and they made sure to direct me to great tourist spots and to be safe. Each nite they checked to see that i had a good time and recommended places to see for the next day. I truly appreciated the extra security and thoughtfulness to me. It is truly daunting to be travelling alone so they made me all the more safe.The resto staff was amazing. They were efficient and friendly and saw me at my worst, after partying til 6am at the disco. Big thank yous to Gustavo. The cleaning staff were super nice and my room was spotless each day. I would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend it to friends who may go to Barcelona.

The only thing poor i can say is the mountain trek. But it was good exercise for me...so it turned out to be a good thing. LOL!

location and the fact it had a rooftop pool with views over the city.

$100 euros for this place, ridiculous! Ignore the budget friendly reviews on here, that was when they were the Hotel Rubens. Far from everything so you always need to take the Metro. At least a 15 minute walk uphill from the Metro so if you are not in decent shape forget about walking. Walls are thin and you can hear doors slamming everywhere. Beds were old and soft.

Nice and quiet neighborhood, clean and spacious room, very polite staff. Close to the metro (about 3 min), with l3 you get to Catalunya in about 15 minutes. We had our flight out of Barcelona in the evening, the hotel staff were very helpful to keep our luggages for a few hours.

No WI-Fi in the room (internet works fine in the lobby),

The staff were nice and the rooms were good. It provided rooms for single person too.

It is not very near the front side of Gueell Park, but it locates near one mountain of the park. The staff were nice to introduce information for us but not very useful... The free Wifi was not very good

We liked the location, above the city but convenient to the Metro.There was a good amount of space in the bedroom and, especially, the bathroom. We found the Snack-bar convenient and reasonably priced.All the staff were friendly and efficient.I Enjoyed the visit with my grand-daughter and hope to visit you again with my husband to see the northern heights, follow the Modernista trail and enjoy a concert at the beautiful concert hall. We enjoyed our room with terrace, worth it! Can say only the good things about the hotel - personnel, close to metro and Park Guell, quiet - except for extremely noisy Italian school group guests.

The staff was very friendly and had outdone thereselfves when I needed assistance for football tickets, the hotel is located a few minutes walk from the metro and from park guell.

The way the staff dealt with my complaint (please see explanation below)

I was kept awake the whole night by a group of Italian teenagers who were very noisy. I rang reception on several occasions however the staff was powerless in getting the group to calm down. However in the morning the hotel manager was very efficient in dealing with my complaint, apologize in person and offered me an upgrade in a different hotel of the group for the following night. They handled the situation in a swift manner which considering how awful I was feeling after a sleepless night was only fair.

I really liked the area. There are a lot of parks and it's easy to get to the city center. From our room we had a beautiful view to one of Barcelona's hills. On the roof there is a swimming pool. It was too cold to use it, but I think in summer it must be great!

The room was very clairaudient.

I stayed at this hotel on 29.01-4.02.2012, everything was great. The hotel is clean and nice, offers a good basic breakfast. For the money we paid, we've got much more than we expected.

Medium quality hotel, good price/quality. Big room with its own bathroom, but there were so cold in January because the room's radiator was small.

Two first nights were costed 25 euro per day, but next two nights were upwarded to 35 euro, and the next night was upwarded to 39 euro. I think, it's not very good ) And in despite of we booked a room for couple we take a room a twin room with 2 beds.
