Nice location - 5 min from Clot metro station (15 min - from the hotel to the city center, Catalunya metro station). Various food on breakfast, it's worth to take it. Good prices (vs city restaurants) for tasty food in hotel restaurant Like other spain hotels, Aragon checks your credit card upfront your visit and draft about 70-80 euro from it and then back money on card. Unfortunately, this amount stays blocked on your card for more than 10 days, so, pls be ready for this

Excellent location. Very close to Metro Station Clot - in Zone 1. Walking distance to Sagrada Familia about 20 minutes - walking to the beach 35 minutes. Excellent area - very clean, safe, excellent cafes and small local grocery store. Very good value. Clean room. There was a bit of a heat wave going on, the AC was not very strong. I would not stay here in the middle of the summer. With the air on and the window open, we were very comfortable. The breakfast is expensive, so we purchased food at the local shops - excellent value!!!

Convenient to metro station; professional, helpful staff; handy to have bar & restaurant available for late arrival. Took us possibly 10 to 15 minutes of easy walking to the Sagrada Familia. Reasonable size room always adds to comfort. Bathroom immaculate. Would definitely stay again.

Its convenient location The room was unacceptably noisy. In order to get ventilation, either the windows needed to be opened and we were subject to the din of the traffic or the air conditioning fan could be switched on and this was noisy also. We do not understand why the fan needs to be so noisy. We tried to use the air conditioner to cool the room a little - this didn't work and when we brought this to the attention of the hotel staff we were told that this feature only operated in summer. We missed not having tea/coffee making facilites in our room

Very friendly staff. Very close to the Sagrada Familia and to a metro stop (Clot station). Interesting design of the rooms and bathroom, very modern and elegant. The bed was too hard (we are use to a much softer bed) and there was only one pillow for each person, which was too high. It would be better to have two medium height pillows for people that want lower pillows. The design of the room is nice but the wooden floors are a problem when the people in the above room wear high heels and roll their bags in at 1 or 2 am.

The Catalonia Aragon is a good 3* hotel, in a good location with excellent staff who speak English fluently. You can get the train (renfe) from terminal 2 from the airport (bcn) to Clot and the hotel is a few minutes walk on the main road. The hotel is also close local shops, and Clot is on the l2 line which get to the city centre (La Rambla) and Sagrada Familia. We stayed on the fifth floor in the new wing of the hotel, and despite previous reviews the lifts were absolutely fine. The only issues we had were the safe lock getting stuck so we were not able to use it, the air con was also not very good - but we did not complain as we could open the window and it was not too hot in March. The main issue was getting a twin bed instead of a double, we asked this to be changed the second night but the hotel was fully booked.

The staff service was amazing! Way beyond the call of duty. Marta and Raquel were super friendly and helpful. I could not have gotten along without them! In all the hotels I visited in my life, I never met a friendlier more professional staff! Highly recommended.

They gave us a modern room at the block D. Not very big room but ok. We had fridge, mini-bar and kettle service. Wi-fi worked very well even if we were at 4th floor. It was clean and fine. Breakfast buffet was very good and with a reduced price for 8€/P.P. Very closed to Clot tube and train station (3 walk minutes). You can travel from/to airport directly from there. Really very convenient Hotel staff were just correct, only 2 people at the reception were really friendly. The hotel is situated in a very noisy street but our room was on the back, so was fine. We had only some noisy from workers building a pool on the backyard, but was bearable. Staff at the kitchen were not friendly at all.

Very clean room. Very very small and with a very very small window. If you want to have just a place to sleep, is ok, but with such a small room and window you might become chlaustrofobic. In rest, quite ok.

Clean comfortable and very accessible to the Metro at Clot. Nice having a cafe to come back to for a drink or coffee if you need it. Helpful reception staff on our arrival despite it being past midnight. We would recommend it Slightly noisy in the communal areas outside the bedroom door. Door slamming an issue - think something could be done about it like padding to the door frame. But only a slight niggle.

Personnel is very friendly and the room is not worse than some 4-star hotels in the city. There is free wireless network all over the premises, which apparently is not given for granted even in upper class hotels I was during the week for work and that are much more expensive than this. The hotel is perfectly located as the metro station to the city centre is very close (Clot).

Location was good For a repeat customer, their shorted me. I got a very noisy room and smaller than I used to get. In previous stays the room has a hot water pot for coffee. Windows have a very poor noise and weather insulation. I coul dhear everything from the street. I spoke with the management and all I got is Sorry Sir! Will never stay there again

The location is very good, subway within max 5 mins walking, with train station for the airport, night bus coming from Catalunia Square in center that can also be used with connection from airport bus; by subway 2 stops away from Sagrada Familia. Its located in a normal neighberhood. Hotel is decent looking, not too fancy, with wireless, breakfast is very good with food variety and fresh fruits. They had a contract with a flamenco show company and we got a nice discount, the flyer was one of the few available at the reception. The ladies at the reception could definitely be more friendly ! Hotel is asking at check in a deposit of 50euro cash or the full number of your credit card. I gave them 50euro and on the day of check out they forgot to give it back, i called and then they answer they will send by bank transfer. I did not understand why the deposit was necessary, it has never happend to me. The hotel could renovate a bit the lobby and the rest of the rooms, i think they are in progress of doing this. I would also recommend more touristic flyers for info.

Great value. Very nice, even before considering price. Surrounding area is a bit grotty, but does not feel particularly unsafe. Very close to metro too, so no worries about long walks.
