very good location with value for money- closeby Metro, shopping and turest atractions sites.

Pillows were a cheap ones and the toilet not up to 4 star hotels. Not sufficient staff at the reception and some of the reception staff not up stander.

Location!! Right In he heart of the city. Bus n train station right in front, next to a great shopping centre, which has restaurants on its Terris (great view). Very comfortable and clean, the view from the window was awesome. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff, always ready to help, although they are occupied most the time.

There was nothing in the spa, only A treadmill was lying there which was quite a shock.. Staff at the reception is quite busy, though they are always ready to help. The new floor built was beautiful but had a lot of fresh paint smell.

I made a mistake on the reservation. I booked for another date, but they were willing to give me a room without any more charge. Very helpfull staff especially Raoul at the reception desk. Big big thanks. I will definitly come here again. Had a beautifull room with spectacular view on the Plaza Espanya

- Hotel is at perfect location, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast - I would recomend it for the others. - I would stay in Catalunya Barcelona Placa again!

You couldn't beat the location. Access to all modes of transportation (taxi, bus, subway) was available right in front of the hotel. We had a wonderful view from our room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

- Nice view of Plaza Espana. - Nice rooftop pool. - Good buffet breakfast. - Free bottle of water and chocolates in the room. - Reception staff friendly. - Free glass of cava for all guests.

- The 'fitness centre' consisted of 3 fitness machines.

Hotel location is very good. Room was very clean, i stayed at Non smoke room. Metro access is one minute away from reception area of the hotel ,very comfortable. I recommend to travelers to take from the first day city tour bus for two days, after to walk a lot, I did vise versa and regret it :)

On my arrival after 24hours of traveling my reservation couldn't get thru the system I had to wait 30 mins . Hotel has a problem with wifi connection in the room. I had to go downstairs to connect to Internet . Hope they will fix it. Didn't like food in hotels restaurant , it's better to eat outside.

Some elements were poor In penthouse - 11th floor Blocked sinks Broken door handle my wife Cut hand on door handle 9th floor apartment was better.

Ideal location for short city break. Walking distance of Camp Nou, which is why we were there for a Champions League match.

The room was excellent, with a fabulous view over beautiful Barcelona. The hotel has a great location, with a top mall right next door. The breakfast is very nice, with enough choices to suit anyone's taste.

There needs to be more staff around peak checking /checkout times. It was utter confusion when I arrived around 2pm. A very stressed but friendly senior receptionist saved me after 15 minutes. I did not like that they wrote my whole credit card number on the check-in slip -which is left for anyone to see!

Location, facility, service, view, comfort, airport bus stops in front of the hotel, metro station 1 minute walk!

Everything was perfect, especially the view from the window is amazing. Very reasonable price for this quality hotel. It was very center of barcelona and metro, aerobus and normal bus is located in front of hotel. Rooms was big enough and very comfortable. There is a big shopping mall just near the hotel and the area of the hotel is full of restaurants and cafes. I strongly recommend this hotel to other guests.

Loved the view of the fountain and the quality of the room.

The location was directly above the Espana metro station making it very simple to navigate the city. Lovely views of the Magic Fountains and close to shopping and dining choices. A good value for location, room size and facilities.

Beds are very firm. In house breakfast is expensive but local breakfast choices are close and more affordable.

Rooftop Swimming pool with amazing day/night view on Plaza d'Espanya!! Very large room. Convenient location, by L1 metro station Espanya.

Didn't had breakfast because it was too expensive (but who knows.. Maybe it was worth it?). Instead of 1 Double bed we got to bed side by side, not too comfortable... One day the cleaner put all of our stuff inside our luggage, we thought it was bizzare and we found it to be a bit disturbing

Connecting to Internet was not working smoothly.

I really want to like this place because the suites are fabulous - large and luxurious and with incredible views of Plaza Espanya. The location is also the best place to stay in Barcelona in my opinion. Stay away from the regular rooms because most of the hotel is filled with bus trip tourist excursions with lots of kids running up and down the halls making noise at all hours.

I have stayed at this hotel twice, and had the same problems both times. The internet situation at this place is TERRIBLE. I wasted over an hour one day trying to log onto the WIFI and the second day I had to go down to the lobby and use the house computer as it was the only way to send an email. This place needs a TOTAL OVERHAUL OF ITS WIFI NETWORK. Stay away from the hotel restaurants. They are overpriced and just OK quality. The little Tapas bar in the corner of the hotel is independent and that one is fine. There are also a dozen great places across the street in Las Arenas.

Staff was great. They were informative, helpful, knowledgable, and most spoke English.

This is not a hotel to go to if you like charm, but it is very efficient and bussinesslike. The location offsets its lack of charm.
