My daughter made the reservation based on location, close to her apt. in BCN. The hotel exceed our expectations, besides location, is a nice small hotel, clean, confortable room and bathroom facilities. Would have been even better if breakfast was included. We highly recommend this hotel.

It was a secure hotel and there was no reason to worry about anything being stolen or going really bad, our bathroom was very clean and big. The curtains allowed us to fully darken the room, no matter how bright it was outside. There was no air conditioning in the bathroom nor an outlet for bad odors, perfume or anything, the bed was much too short - I am ~1.88m tall and it was hard for me to really sleep comfortably - not because of the mattress, but because of the lenghth of the bed - and that was terribly disappointing. Moreover it was loud during the night almost always- at first an American family across the floor had a loud fight during nighttime, with annoying children; and then there was a Spanish couple in the next room in another night which fiercely fought while listening to opera on full volume, slamming doors, yelling and more - naturally we heard all of it, as the walls were so thin. It's an overrated hotel for the price paid (349.5€ for 4 nights). Price/value certainly don't match.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly when we requested a room change in view of the room temperature which was far too hot. The location was perfect vis a vis restaurants and shopping area. Located in the safer area of Barcelona. The only issue we had was our first night in room 606 which was dark with no natural light and no circulation of air.We put the air conditioning on only to find out the next morning that a guest had complained that it was too cold and they had put the heating on and we didn't sleep a wink (it was 19 degrees during the day and not exactly cold at night). However, the staff on reception allowed us to change immediately the next morning without any fuss.

Rooms and staff very nice. Lobby makes the hotel look a little 'dated'. The rooms are excellent. Excellent location - very convenient, and not in the tourist areas over-run by foreigners in the Gothic area - but just a short subway ride (10 mins) to the Gothic district.

Location was quite good, relatively close (5 min walk) to underground stop Diagonal and room was quite clean. We had a problem in the bathroom (water wasn't going through in the sink and in the bathtub) and they could't fix it! Not all the rooms have at least a window! I would say as well that the rooms don't look as good as in the pictures!

The hotel is close to Sagrada Familia ( max 10 min walk ) and to Padrera ( max 5 min walk ). The hotel has free wireless internet that works really good. The only problem is the parking in that area. There are a couple of private parkings around but the cheepest is 26.40 euros per day.

Lots of natural light (but also blackout curtains if you don't want the light) gave the room a very homely feel. The location of the hotel is superb being half way between La Sagrada Familla and the Rambles. The staff have a strong service ethic, and were very pleasant. For the price and location, everything was fine. Only thing was that the pillows in the room are a bit thin - but that's struggling to find something wrong.
