The hotel was accommodating to our requests, clean and provided a good breakfast buffet. The location was perfect for a family traveling with small children. We were close to the subway station and a stop for the tourist buses.

To improve their service, the hotel should consider complementary coffee/espresso makers in the room. We also found that the linens were not adequate - meaning we needed to have an additional blanket.

The complete experience and service, rooms, breakfast excellent. Couldn't fault the hotel.

The hotel is located in the middle of everything worth visiting. The ideal place to follow "three days in Barcelona".

The pool and bar area was a nice retreat from the city. The bartender very nice and friendly.

The front desk staff was not rude, but not very friendly either. Hot water was luke warm. Wifi available in the room 20% of the time. In May, the pool was too cold for kids that need to swim and take a break.

Really central location, very clean, friendly hotel. Lovely quiet room and wonderful hot powerful shower.

No tea and coffee making facilities in room - though we did get a free bottle of water. Breakfast seemed expensive at $19.00 - especially if you are generally happy with a coffee and a roll. Did look as though absolutely everything was on offer though so possibly good value if you filled up for the day!

2 +ve things about the hotel: - Excellent Location (right next to Catalunya Plaza) - The staff are extremely friendly - We were upgraded to a superior room for free which was awesome and the size of room was BIG

To be honest, I wouldn't give it 4 stars for many reasons: - The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable I had a tough time to sleep - There was literately (0) sound insulation you can hear everything from everywhere - Overpriced as I stayed in 3 hotels in Barcelona with good locations and cheaper prices - One of the annoying issues we had is having to re-program the room key every time we leave the room!

Not a 4* hotel. Bed was rock hard 2 singles pushed together and no pillows. Are plenty better hotels for lower costs too

Problems at check-in, room was ready only at 3 pm.

We were in a business trip and needed special transportation. The persons in the reception were very helpful in this matter. They were also very good (and patient) in providing tourist information. Location and price (for such kind of a hotel) are excellent.

It's a good hotel in the very heart of Barcelona - location is exellent - everything in the center is very close. Brekfast is perfect - a lot of fruits, wide choise of dishes. Very friendly staff.

Paying extra for a terrace and looking out onto other buildings, this should be standard room price. Also no kettle or tea and coffee in rooms as do Uk 4 star hotels provide. Very expensive mini bar. Not 4 star - 3 star only. I would not stay here again for these reasons

Bed very hard and uncomfortable and couldnt sleep for 4 nights No kettle in room so no tea possible - very hard for irish people! Breakfast too expensive at 19 euro No staff at the bar anytime you went to buy a drink/coffee.
