Good location, 30 seconds walk from Las Ramblas.

Two singles joint rather then one double when booked for a double room. Wifi kept cutting out, and often was not working in the room. Restaurant closed very early.

Location, was great.

Our room had no air other than opening a window which face a shaft like enclosed. It was an odd old room I guess in the old part of the hotel. We are karrive early and they were very accommodating...we should have requested another room or better yet see the room before being assign. But to pay that much I figure there would not be a bad room. I was wrong!!!!!!!!

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The first night we were in a room were the ventilation was not working properly which made the room extremely hot. Next day in the morning we complain at the reception and the staff was great, they really apologize and immediately changed our room. The location was perfect, just around the corner from Plaza de Catalunya and just across the street from the truistic buses and the bus stop to the bus that goes to the airport. We really enjoyed our stay at Catalonia Plaza Catalunya and we recommend!

All of the staff were very, very friendly and most helpful including in giving advice on places to see and things to do. They were a credit to the hotel, Barcelona and Catalonia! The hotel room and bathroom were well proportioned and very clean and the hotel facilities were excellent. The hotel location was also excellent being on a street just off the main Playa Catalonia and one minutes walk from La Rambla. The hotel was quiet at night despite being in a very central location. The Aerobus (airport bus service) stopped on the Playa Catalonia and was just a one minute walk away from the hotel. There was also a metro station very close by. I will definitely stay in the Catalonia Plaza Cataluna when I go in Barcelona again!

Not a huge issue but tea and coffee making facilities were not available in the room.

Friendly staff, beautiful and large room, excellent breakfast. Close to a lot of sightseeing and shopping that you are likely to do. We had a maintenance issue that was attended to instantly.

There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Indeed, because of the location it is really easy to explore the city. The room was clean, a good size and it was amply equipped with a flat screen tv and ensuite bathroom. The staff were friendly and very approachable. There was also a left luggage room available which was handy as our flight was a late one. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

I didn't try the breakfast for 10 euros as it seemed quite a steep price.

The beds were very hard and no in room Tea and coffee facilities. As other comments pointed this out we took our own cannot recommend taking your own enough after a long day walking you need a drink before going out to dinner.
