Good location, 30 seconds walk from Las Ramblas.

Two singles joint rather then one double when booked for a double room. Wifi kept cutting out, and often was not working in the room. Restaurant closed very early.

The location was very convenient for a visitor from abroad.....close to Placa Catalunya ,as well as La Rambla.The staff was very courteous and friendly.

The room was warm during the early part of the day, and the air conditioning was off due to the season, so only the heater was on. We had requested for a room with one kingsize bed, balcony, the highest level available.But instead we had to wait for approximately an hour for a superior room, that was not to our satisfactory. The satff however, worked it out at the end, and all was well.

The hotel is in a great location which makes it very easy to get to many of the places you want to see. We had a minor problem with the room and the hotel staff fixed it quickly.

It was quite noisy at times at night from noise coming from the other rooms and the hallway.

(1) Hotel staff was great from front desk to breakfast. (2) wifi was great in lobby and room for laptops. (We had 2 laptops and an Ipod touch connected. (3) breakfast is good, but the same every day. (4) great location. (5) the mini bar fridge wasn't stuffed full so we could store some Manchego and salami for light dinners on teh balcony. (6) balcony was a very comfortable place to hangout with a bottle of wine. The balconies are only separated by some reed fence which felt unprivate at first, but it was okay.

There was a sour smell in our bathroom, kind of smelled like sewer. (2) Wifi was difficult to use with iPod Touch as it opens a second window that did't work on the Safari platform (3) rooftop bar would be great for hanging out as the bar is around the pool and right ouside of rooms.

Location is the best. Elevators are fast. Excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay in that hotel again.

The bed was very soft. No english movie channels or pay TV.

Staff weere helpful in advance, with advice re aerobus to the Catalunya Paza, and an easy walk to the hotel. Although we arrived early in the morning, they had our room ready, and by 9 am we were free to walk to the nearby Metro to renew our acquaintance with Barcelona. Breakfast was very good, and discounted to 10 Euros, with a cappuchino available for 2.75Euros. On Sunday morning, complimentary campagne/mimosas were on the breakfast buffet. Walking across the street and into the fnac store leads to an interior mall which exits at the Cafe Zurich and the Metro stop - location is everything.

Room could have used better lighting for reading, and wifi was a bit slow, but the price was fair, and the proximity to so much that we love about the city was worth any minor inconveniences.

Location,location,location. Great hotel,nice service staff.clean and comfortable beds.

The bar food was horrible had ham and cheese sandwich terrible. The bar pizza wes like eating a cardbord box. Unable to get anything until 8pm in dinning room. Unable to stay up that late due to early am flight out.Would recomend eating out.

Great location and quiet, with clean rooms and decent size bedroom and bathroom.

1 bottle of water once arrived

- the mattress was bad - the room doesn't filter out the huge noise from the corridor (no carpets, no additional insulation or doors from the bedroom) - the internet was impossibly slow at peak hours - the soap disappeared and was not replaced Honestly, not worth the reputation of a 4 star hotel.

Airport bus A1 final stop just across the Plaza Catalunya. Bus service start at 05:30am and run every 5min. Easy access to the all city public transport. The best location for Barcelona visit. Hotel have very big, quiet and nice rooms with good sound insulation.
