The location It was basic and the room was like a dormitory, nothing welcoming or comfortable about it, very bare with yellow walls and blue laminate floor, very uninviting.

Right in the centre of Santander yet quiet enough to sleep well. Always plenty of hot water. Rooms quirky but clean & comfortable.

Excellent location with respect to shops and restaurants, good for beaches and port. Just five minutes away I could sit and watch the local fishermen and tour boats on the front. As an unexpected bonus the was, by chance, an artisan fair just fifty metres away. There was one item of décor that I was uncomfortable with. It was the deliberate styling of all the room doors to be half painted, half stripped wood. On first sight I got the impression of a half finished decorating job (Oh gods, what have I booked into?). Please either strip the door fully, or paint the door fully.

In picturesque street in town/ city centre, near cafes, restaurants and seafront. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast in comfortable breakfast room. Roof terrace was a pleasant place to be. Parking a real problem. Cost 1e20 per hour up to a max of 14e30 per 24 hours in underground car park, with no real alternative, as hotel has no parking space at all. Even loading up luggage on the morning we left caused a traffic jam. Bathroom had an unpleasant smell, which built up during the day, and bed was quite uncomfortably hard.

The hotel is, true to its name, very centrally located with lots of nice shops and bars in the neighbourhood (the immediate neighbourhood is quiet though). The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small roof terrace with a nice view of the sea and the roofs of the old town. The rooms are big and clean, but a bit shabby (a cracked mirror, dents in the furniture), so the price was just about ok.

Rooms very clean, staff was very helpful and the location was perfect to the rest of the city. Older building in need of repair, but can't beat location.
