What i like more is the place and the good work of staff
Fruits for breakfast, staff, location, cleanliness, people who stayed there.
No internet connection in the room, there are two floors internet will work 2 and 7. At 2 it will always come and go. 7 it's good but common area looks a bit dodgy and even though you are willing to put up with that common area will be closed at 10 p.m. at that floor so you won't able to use proper internet anywhere in the hostel after that hour.
Great location, lovely and helpful ladies at the reception, a clean environment, nice dorm mates from all over the world.
The sensor light in the bathroom turns off during the shower. So guests have to wave their hands to turn it on again and again. Blankets are not included.
-The location is very good - The price is very cheap but I guess you can also not expect too much for that. - It's a beautiful building with a lots of space and potential.
-The beds terribly old and very uncomfortable - They forget many times to provide people with sheets and do not take any control if people even use them, so most of the time people are sleeping on their beds without cleaning and the staff doesn't clean the beds at all. A blanket is not provided unless you pay extra. - There might be a kitchen but you're not allowed to use it before 12AM and not after 10PM and there's equipment missing. - They make you pay 1 euro per person per night extra if you want to pay by debit/creditcard. Which is not necessary in that way because they have to pay per transaction, not per the amount or days, so that's not fair. - Unfortunately the hostel lacks seriously of a warm atmosphere to meet a lot of travelling people. - It's great they have a free breakfast.... but I'd rather eat somewhere else and pay for it.
Locations is just excellent. Staff is helpful.
Showers aren't enough. Beds aren't that comfortable and you actually have to pay for a blanket, even for a padlock. There should be plug-ins near to EVERY bed! Next time in Barcelona, somewhere else!
Fresh fruit for breakfast. Staff we're very helpful with directions and information.
We arrived late into town due to delays on train. In dorm room, we woke the person up who was in the dorm. We were then woken up by further guest getting in late after 1 am. One who snored the whole night. Beds were uncomfortable, too hot, too much street noise.
Location is perfect Easy to find
Wifi is not really working Noisy in the early morning which would wake u up easily
Location, right by Casa Batllo
Wifi VERY weak in rooms, only good at the common room. Breakfast was very poor, but I'm realizing this is common in hostels. The shower and the bathroom light turn off every 10 seconds or so, so its quite annoying to wash your hair. The mattress was VERY old and very thin in the middle, it was ok but not very confortable.
Perfect location by the casa Batallo Fairly clean Wonderful rooftop : alas hardly used and it closes at 10pm which is super early for Barcelona Breakfast is included and very correct
1) Small print : you have to rent linen & towel unless you are in a private room 2) Wifi never worked properly 3) Bed side lamp & door of the shower cabin broken - not fixed in 2 days 4) Staff not consistently helpful
I had to book a trip to Toulouse and the young lady in the front desk was very helpfull.great crew. The young lady at the terrace bar was very nice (and cute).
I think the computer set is updated..I had trouble trying to use them.
location. location, price
doesnt offer services other than day walks has great potential but nothing on offer
The location is good,so you can walk to many attractive places.
The service is not satisfying. The breakfast is awful. You need to rent a blanket by 2 Euro.
Staff were extremely helpful & pleasant. Despite a couple of minor negatives a very good/Central place to stay
Room a little crowded lifts a bit slow
quite wasnt noisy
service and room furneture quality
The location was excellent, very central.
The staff weren't overly friendly. The kitchen was tiny. It was a bit more expensive than other backpackers of similar or better quality.
clean, good breakfast, good location.
Such a good location! Right next to Casa Baltoo. Great city view from terrace on roof. Great price (except fridays...very expensive friday night)
The hallways smelled funny all the time. Even after cleaning. The breakfast is poop but it's free so...beggers can't be choosers
Nice staff, comfortable rooms, okay breakfast, coffee machine, good shared spaces, I slept well.
WiFi only in one place. Check in is chaotic and too late. It's at 2pm and everyone arrives at once and you have to line up and wait.
very awesome location~
Location Clean + friendly Cheap Big rooms Nice bars
One washing machine WiFi not reliable
Location is great, room is big, everything very clean, and beautiful view from the room.
I reserved a room for 4 people and ended up in a 6 people room, although the price I payed was for the first. I only discovered when ai got to the room.I presented the situation to the staff but they sad they where overbooked and there was nothing they could do about it. They also didn't correct the price for the room I actually got, although they gave me a free drink and a blancket to try to compensate. I waited for a manager answer that never came. There was no toillet paper for two days in the private bathroom. Wifi Internet was less than acceptable, hard to connect, slow and functioned only in corridors.
Location is awsome. The staffs was helpful and nice but not everyone though. They were okay. The room is big and clean.
Wifi was very slow and did not work in the room. My room was on the 5th floor. Bf was okay. One of my roommate was a little bit hard to live with. She use the bathroom for shower about an hour.
The location was good and the beds were really comfy.
All of the staff were very rude and not helpful at all (I think that's a requirement to work there...). There were only 2 laundry machines and one was broken when we were there (they promised to fix it but did nothing about it).
The rooms were comfortable and had clean communal showers. Breakfast was basic but good.
I stayed two nights and had to switch rooms, which meant I had I check out at 10 and recheck in at 2, this is not good enough considering I booked in advance! The wifi was slow if you weren't on the third floor. But it wasn't too bad, stayed in worse
On the main street, next to a metro station, and right by the Gaudy house. Excellent facilities
The breakfast was way too blunt
