Position excellent, just outside city walls. Cafeteria rather expensive for the quality of food and drinks.

We parked our car and walked to all the attraction, very central. Parking was 50m around the corner. Add another 10 Euro to your bill if you arrive by car.

When i booked the room, isn't clear that the use of my credit card was only as confirmation nont payment. So, leaving the hotel, i was surprised when i had to pay.

Good location for those visiting the roman sites Bar staff particularly unfriendly, to the point of being awkward. There is confusion over hotel parking as there is another local car park with the same name?

Pleasant staff and comfortable room. Good wi-fi connection. It is close to the railway station, just walk to the end of the street from the station and it is almost opposite.

Good, not great. Room was clean, if somewhat bland (the bathroom was the nicest part). Staff were friendly and helpful. Price is affordable. Ok place to stay if you have no other option in your price range. Air conditioning and WiFi were both intermittent which caused me much frustration. The main illumination in the room was with old style fluorescent tubes, which I detest, so I only used the headboard lights. Location is fair; not too far from the sights, but in a nondescript business district of Merida.

Excellent location, within walking distance of nearly all sights, supermarket round the corner and good Chinese restaurant across the road. Shopping streets just behind. Hotel provides good map of the town. Gentleman operating the bar was kind and approachable and the food seems good though I did not eat there except fro the breakfast. Room basic though a bit worn, but everything you need is there. Good value for the price. The included breakfast could have been upgraded to one with bacon and eggs rather than just toast and coffee though these were well-done as was the fresh orange juice provided, would not have minded paying extra if we knew at booking.

Close to the main city attractions of Merida which are the roman ruins and Alcazaba. Clean and affordable hotel. The receptionist neither speaks nor understands english; To be able to communicate, the customer should at least posses basic knowledge in spanish, otherwise we also would not be able to communicate. The room is small. Breakfast consists of the toast and coffe or tea from the bar, and you ask and obtain it from there.

Good location - close to town centre and the Roman monuments - helpful staff, and secure parking It was a rather dingy room, in a very moderate hotel. The staff spoke no English, but were friendly and helpful. No fridge, small room, clean, but showing its age. We paid 62 Euros which, compared to top quality hotels in Toledo and Segovia (and the Parador in Salamanca), all between 60 and 70 a night was not good value for money.

We were in Merida to see the Roman ruins. They were all easily walkable from this location. Their carpark is reasonable and easily accessible. The room was fine, and the desk people were helpful and friendly. All in all, a good choice.
