Mature member of staff on desk when we arrived. Not helpful at all.
Dining room packed and noisy and resembled a bun fight both morning and evening. Even for mass catering the quality of the hot food was extremely poor.
We come regularly so i think that speaks for itself
no free wifi in rooms and toasters outdated
Wifi must be free
Great food, location, sea view
Crowded lifts, very slow and expensive Wifi
The staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful: even changing our room at no cost when the knew we had just married.
Nothing. Stayed there mny times over the years and will return.
the hotel entrance looked great
the rooms where still the same as when I stayed there 15 years ago
Staff in bar area could learn to smile
The good thing at this hotel is its location.
Everything at the hotel is old and worn. Especially, the lifts do not work properly, as there is only one lift working at a time, and the other lifts waiting.
great location,friendly staff,food good,nice hotel.
good location near shops restaurants lift to beach
not very friendly staff pool aera not very clean very noisy bedrooms people very drunk around bedrooms late at night
Central location, breakfast choices, friendly dining room staff.
Some reception staff not very helpful; lifts very small & 3 not enough; corridor carpets have seen better days; beds very hard & backbreaking, broken clothes hangers; evening meals disgusting - same old menu; sunbeds around pool on clay surface,
The pools and rooms of the hotel are really good. It is a big hotel and therefore quite busy with a very mainstream feel. Good bar and some good evening entertainment for a more older crowd.
The hotel is a little tired, the gym facilities are pretty much non-existent and it is a bit of a walk from the beach. But the pools do more than off set this.
Cleanliness of the rooms, old furniture
The poolside surface where the majority of sun loungers where located was originally grass that had worn away/died leaving compacted soil that turned into mud when wet and then paddled across the paved side of the pool.
I booked breakfast only - hotel is surrounded by better and cheaper places for the rest. Breakfast gave good variety of food for all tastes and staff worked hard to keep it good to the end. My fave place was the roof pool - stunning views and kids can swim out of the sun.
Public areas very modern - the room was satisfactory but a little tired - although very clean and maid service great. Just a minor detail - TV was old and couldn't get any channels.
the whole experience the bed was really uncomfortable queuing to get into the restaurant lifts took forever no aircon in the main hotel had to get up at 7.30 to que to get a bed by the pool the all inclusive is a rip off the alcohol is nasty and cheap the snacks are rubbish the staff are rude and only look after the Spanish the food is awful and you have to pay for the hire of the safe in your room and you have to pay for wifi stay some were else
- location - room - staff
food was poor, no fresh fruit and no hommade drinks at the bar
Nothing to write aboutw
Played more money on arrival1.17 rate in the street 1.24 Hot food disgusting rude lazy staff suitable for the Spanish also noisy
Food was excellent quality, staff were friendly, excellent cleanliness.
Too many people all inclusive which spoilt for others. Staff became more friendly when they realised you weren't staying on an all in basis. Hotel didn't allow towels to reserve sun beds but by 9am they were all taken with no one actually on them!
Position of the hotel. Sea view from our room was good. Staff were helpful but seemed to be under siege this visit.
Hotel seems to have gone downmarket since we last visited it about 3 years ago. Perhaps we were just unlucky with the time of year but it seemed to be full of large parties of very noisy people. Queuing for breakfast, not good! Our room had no sun on the balcony at any time of day and overlooked the pool, which for some reason this visit was very noisy.
location - excellent especially for solo traveller. In centre of town - gives a sense of feeling safe. Great selection of bars / shops on the doorstep. Train station a few minutes away provides brilliant access to costa inc. Malage.
Decor / facilities getting a bit tired now - could do with a refurb. Need to try finding a solution to the age old problem of hogging sunbeds !!
Just a stones through from train station. Loved the food choice, great all inclusive range. Clean
Pool too small for hotel capacity high season, not enough sun lounges and no bar available on roof terrace.
The location of the hotel is very good. Very close to the city centre and the beach as well as the gay area of La Nogalera.
It was very disappointing to find out upon arrival that the hotel offers no extras at all such as: parking and wifi, all of which comes at an extra cost if you want to use it. But what really shocked me was the fact they charge even for the use of the safe in the bedroom, as I do understand that as a hotel guest you would have already paid for the room and everything it contains. Under such petty principle the hotel could find in their "policy" to charge extra for any other piece of equipment and/or furniture found in the room, which is not justifiable under any principle. As it is a 4 star hotel, guests just presume these mundane added services are included which is not the case in this hotel.
