Hotel design, full of character. Location in the old town. Relaxing atmosphere. Great Food. Friendly staff

It was a little bit cold the first couple of nights until the weather heated up.

The ambiance, the friendly local town, the hotel hosts, the art.

Could not find it with the gps. Limited breakfast

Breakfast very sparse. We were there 18 months ago and there was much better provision. Has the management changed?

The managers hiuaband and wife cared that I had a comfortable stay and visit to historical City of Denia

The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. We always enjoy staying at Hotel Chamarel because it so tranquil and it is good being so near the old town, now that this part of Denia is coming alive again.

Being disturbed by New Year's Eve Party in the Hotel until 0635 hrs on New Year's day.

I feel like at Home, very friendly atmosphere . The owners were very friendly, helpful ,and accommodating . I couldn't have chosen a better hotel specially for the Hoyday season.And yes I will return there next time I am Spain and I will recommande it highly to anyone!

An Artists paradise.A unique Boutique hotel,wth all of the bedrooms individually themed,. The inner courtyard is a very relaxing place to sit and read with a glass of wine Breakfast was continental but offered plenty of choice. We had booked for a friends 50th birthday and when i asked David if they would decorate her room , it was done before she arrive perfectly ..

The bath water is only a trickle.

Internet doesn´t work when having Windows 7, Sensitively. No good bed, lot of noice from it, you have to lay absolut still.

The hotel itself was clean and breakfast was very good.

We had booked a Special Double room, but the room that we ended up in was very plain and not worth any extra money.

We thoroughly enjoyes our stay, and would say that Art Boutique Hotel Chamarel is fully worthy of 5 not 3 stars. Absolutely charming building set in the perfect location close to the castle, shops, port and beach. The staff were lovely and helpful, ask them for a recommendation on where to eat and they will point you in the direction of some of the best food I've ever eaten in spain.

The breakfast included was basic but did the job - would have loved some hot food too but cannot complain for the price.

The courtyard and the turtles. I also really liked the floor tiles in the bathroom and the door/ window

I didn't think that the chest of drawers suited the room and the shower in the bathroom could be better.

It was right in the centre of the town

Hand-held shower attachment over bath was not very convenient to use and quite a large step over and into/out of the bath was a bit daunting.

Exceptionally pleasant surroundings. Great detail to art and décor. Very clean throughout. Pleasant outside area. Quiet and calm, ideal for relaxing. Continental breakfast was very good. Owners really friendly and helpful. Will definitely return for another stay.

There is nothing I personally disliked. People who like big hotels with swimming pools and lots of entertainment may not like this hotel. We absolutely loved it.

Good atmosphere

this was one of the best experience ever had ! It was amazing have filmed the hotel as it was fabulous. Will return again. everyone in hotel are so nice.

Very individual decoration with original art work and original tiles in rooms and piano in reception/dining area. Not uber modern and clinical but v. pleasant converted townhouse with central courtyard where you can have breakfast. Staff extremely helpful on the whole. Close to centre of Denia and main street plus good bars and restaurants for evening. A bit of a trek from beach but manageable. A pleasant, friendly place to stay with unique decoration and spacious rooms.

Lack of a window to open other than glass door to shared narrow balcony so quite reliant on air conditioning. No panel or shower curtain to stop you splashing the bathroom floor with the hand held shower. Minor faults and nothing that would stop me going back again.

The hotel was very old and had a very authentic character. The amazing building oozes history.

The hotel reception/dining area was very dark and dusty smelling. it lacked atmosphere which was very unfortunate as it could be a fantastic place to stay.

Ideal overnight stop for us as we drive from Marbella to Zurich.

the decor and interesting antiques and paintings were a major bonus. also the courtyard is very tranquil

I fell in love with this hotel.It is fantastic hotel with interesting interior where every detail has its place, everything is harmonious. Beautiful cozy courtyard. Room also has an interesting interior with large bath and comfortable bed. very quiet. I feel in this hotel like at home. Hotel is in the city center, not far from the beach and 5 min walk to bars or restaurants. With sure I come back to Denia and with sure i'll stay in this hotel again!!!!
