Lovely building, charming décor.
Very noisy location pretty basic room. Average breakfast.
This hotel delivers what it promises. Old world style , friendly staff and a fantastic location.
There was nothing we didn't like
Beds a bit hard. Tub too small.
Very good location in old part of town. Had a nice romantic/relaxed feel to it, not a corporate one size fits all type of hotel. Hotel is on a pedestrian only road and whilst on- road parking is available very close by it can sometimes be hard to park on these narrow roads so would definitely recommend pre-booking a parking space in their own car park, again very close by.
Matter of personal taste and didn't detract from enjoyment of stay, but maybe the smell of incense in the reception area a bit too strong in the morning.
On arrival we were told there was water damage in our room and we were upgraded to a much nicer room. Spacious room, high ceilings, wonderful old bathroom.
Overlooked the narrow street and there was no real daylight because of tall buildings opposite. Quite gloomy even when the sun was out. Would definitely stay again but would like to view the courtyard garden.
Interesting art decorates this hotel on every wall The owner and her daughter were very helpful
The only complaint would be the night staff was a bit rude and would not try to answer any questions
Old world charm, atmosphere and calm. Loved the courtyard and architecture.
The hotel was exceptional, great value for money and location - we'd definitely recommend. Very charming and unique - gorgeous boutique hotel.
The daily fee for the hotel car park was not highlighted at check-in so please be aware that there is an additional charge.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Anna helped us book a meal at a restaurant she recommended for our anniversary. The location is great and just round the corner from main eating areas and shops. Weather was fantastic which made our stay even more enjoyable. Very laid back place with siesta time still practised.
Breakfast at hotel although complimentary just need a bit of variation everyday as after 5 days of toast , croissant, orange juice tea or coffee can be boring. We did order the special breakfast one day but you have to do this the day before you want it and sometimes in the morning you do not always know what you want, so a choice would be good.
The hotel is very cozy, we liked it. And Anna was very helpful, thanks!
Some of the stuff don't speak english at all.
Rooms are large and clean. Airco Works well People v friendly and even made us cappuccino's early in the morning on the day of our departure.
Nothing at all!
Everything. The hotel was amazing, loads of interesting objet to look at (collections in vitrines), art on the walls, gorgeous patio, great ambience, wonderful old tiles in bathroom, thoughtfully decorated and located in centre of old town. Loved it. Only one draw back ....
... charged 10 Euros as we were leaving for our dog. I understand this is at their discretion but why not just make it clear at the time of booking. It's a small thing but ....
Excellent location and staff in a great town. The location of the hotel is in heart of everything including great selection of restaurants and shopping.
Friendly, quiant, querky decor, good wifi
Was left without towels but was resolved quickly
Staff Breakfast Location Style Courtyard Building
No lift - so for older people a little tricky
Rooms are very comfortable, large and airy. Plenty of storage space. Bathroom, likewise, spacious and well appointed. Liked mix of old and new in furnishings and art. Staff very helpful. Secure parking very close by, and good restaurants, beach and castle all within walking distance. We'll definitely use this hotel again.
It's very close to calle loreto where there are excellent bars and restaurants. Our room was on the second floor and was cry spacious with a large bathroom. The beach is around 15 minutes walk away from tre hotel
It felt more like living in Spain in a tradition building rather than a purpose built hotel. Loved it.
Friendly helpful staff
Size of suite. Staff and location. Price
Lighting in room. Sunken bath and hand held shower in suite very impractical. Should also let potential clients know about the stairs.
Helpful staff very enjoyable all round have already recommended it to a friend who is coming next year
Loved the traditional aspects of the hotel, beautiful decor, and very helpfull staff. Fantastic location
Would have liked tea & coffee facitiies in the room
This is a beautiful unique hotel that anyone travelling to Denia should experience.
Lovely, quirkey place, family feel, very very nice stay.
Location Interesting style
Stayed in suite Looked good in photo but not comfortable in practise, not enough hot water for the bath, dismal lighting and expensive Standard rooms quite simple and a better choice
