Next to Chamartín train station, this impressive, 4-star hotel is in the financial and business centre of Madrid and has superb transport links for exploring the city.

The great location and communication links make it ideal for business travellers visiting the city or for tourists who wish to explore all that the Spanish capital has to offer.

The hotel has great facilities, including the excellent Cota 13 restaurant, a well-equipped business centre and a range of meeting rooms and convention halls, suitable for any kind of event for anything from 20 to 550 people.

The hotel also boasts comfortable accommodation with a total of 378 rooms, including 18 suites. All of the rooms are exterior rooms and are fully soundproofed so guests can relax after a hard day’s work, or a long day’s sightseeing, and wake up feeling refreshed.

It is quite beside the railway station. I arrived about midnight and even therefore I choose this hotel

It was conveniently situated for transport around Madrid - and also for breakfast at local Cafeterias which cost about 4.40 Euros for Two and not the excessive cost of breakfast in the hotel. Why not include breakfast?

Noise was a problem - thin walls and even thinner interconnecting doors meant we could hear every word and every snore and TV noise from the next room - this was the main problem.

Location is good. Around 30 euros to arrive by taxi.

Really bad area. Very noisy, as young people in Spain practice "botellon", that means to drink and party in the street and they like the area surrounding the hotel. So, very noisy. But if you want to party then perfect. The noise inside the hotel was also pretty bad as the walls are like "made of paper".

I needed a location near the Chamartin train station.

I would only recommend this hotel if you need to be near the Chamartin train station. Aside from that, the hotel is far from the center, very basic, a bit shabby for the price and utterly impersonal.

Check in was easy. Web-site was easy. Internet access was good. Check out was efficient. Staff were friendly although language was an issue but we could communicate effectively anyway.

Location was very noisy. Kids blowing up fireworks outside and partying in the street. Not the hotels fault but still made it hard to sleep. If any real criticism it would be that in comparison to the usual 5-star hotels this one was not the most pretty I've ever stayed in but for Europe it was more than adequate.

Incredibly wonderful location. being close to the transportation station made the visit a lot less stressful and easier to get around.

Some of the staff members were not quite as friendly as others. the dinner experience was a bit odd as it was a beautiful restaurant, but very limited food choice and the food was a bit disappointing.
