Location(good conexion to enjoy city and take airport train next morning); wide room; good wifi.
Tough mattress.Expensive breakfast.
In front of the metro station, with good comunication The staff is nice
It is not a 4 Star Hotel The furniture and instalations are old WIFI was slow They are making reformes, so the access to the hotel is not good The bed is unconfortable They don't clean the bedroom the last day I was there!!!
Location, great spot if you need to catch a train to Lisbon. The staff are responsible and nice to answer all the inquiry.
But the hotel itself is desperately in need of modernization. The WIFI provided is slow, public areas the furniture is absolutely threadbare, all made you back to mid-1980s.There's even no kettle in the room and the hair-dryer is slow-moving and even got too hot when we used it. When we opened our room door the twin beds were sunken in and looked uncomfortable. The rug was torn and the entire was sterile and a bit rough around the edges, which does not fitting a 4-star hotel standard. If you are planning to staying at 1 or 2-star hotels with few amenities in transportation locals, then maybe book here. Plus, no mini-/supermarkets in the neighborhood.
Location, to say something. Handy if you plan to catch a train the day after or something like this.
Unfriendly staff, very cold room, non-functioning wireless network, almost no choice to get a late snack in the cafeteria and super noisy (special mention to the "clever" person who designed the outside shutters). In short, very unsatisfied and very distant from the average quality that you can usually find in a four stars hotel.
Location. The bar and room service staff. The were very nice and helpful.
The toilet did not work when we entered the room. They fixed it but it never worked properly (you had to hit it hard for it to start, something ridiculous in what claims to be a 4-star hotel). It's like a 3-star hotel at best, 2 1/2 if we consider the old state of the bathrooms. The only reason I stayed there it's because of the location.
Proximity to the railway station.
Cleanliness..especially the bathroom which has dirty plugholes. Threadbare towels with holes. Unless you have an early morning train to catch I do not recommend a stay in this hotel.
location inside Chamartin metro station
not even a kettle for some coffee in the room
This big modern hotel is situated right at the Chamartin railway station. This hotel is very useful for the tourist traveling through Spain by trains and who, due to different reasons would like to make a stop and spend a night in Madrid. So, we stayed a night in this hotel when we traveled from Toledo to Avila through Madrid. We arrived here late evening, had our supper and on the next morning after the breakfast we left for Avila. It is very convenient because we had to go down to railway station from the hotel. Well, room itself was comfortable. There were the TV set, refrigerator with mini bar and air conditioner in the room. Wardrobe with safe was also present in the room. Bath room was equipped with the bathtub. Choice of food in the restaurant was plentiful and food itself delicious. So, this is good hotel for the travelers who arrive to Madrid on evening and who is going to t\ravel farther by train from Chamartin Railway Station.
Location and breakfast
This hotel is by far outdated. The room looks like it has not been renovated since mid 80's. The bathroom is in a very bad shape and one has a feeling that something might fall off. There are three power outlets; two of them occupied by TV and phone, and the third is in the bathroom for the hairdryer. Book this hotel only if you are arriving to Chamartin train station and have to go to the airport (T4) in early morning (as was in my case), since it has a good train connections. The bead looks like it has been made for the army; not very comfortable. Another thing is that if you have trouble sleeping because of noise you could be troubled by the sound of trains (even on 9th floor with windows shut)
Reservation system dosent manage very good
I asked for a double bed, but they gave me two single beds
The hotel is old-ish (furniture looks like it's from the 70's) and not in a great location (right above a train station). The rooms were not very clean, and the furniture had broken bits and pieces. Finally we booked a single double bed and got a room with two separate bed.
This hotel is perfect if you need to be near Chamartin station, for example if you have an early train connection or arrive late at night. There are good connections with metro and cercanias local trains. There are some good restaurants near Plaza Castilla. The bed was comfortable.
The check in was slow. The bathtub was curved in a way that made it very slippery. This hotel is not in Madrid city centre, I stayed there because of a train connection. If you want to visit Madrid it would be better to stay in town.
Location. Right above CHAMARTIN Train Station. Good Facilities.
Breakfast NOT inclusive in room rates and was expensive.
It was very convenient for the station when arriving late. The doorman was extremely helpful and polite. It was quiet and comfortable
There was nothing in the room ( that I could find) about the hotel facilities or how to get on to the wifi - or indeed of there was wifi.
Nice place. Convenient. Stayed there several times.
The signal and speed of wifi
We chose the hotel for its location, since our next travel was by train from Chamartin.
The ad said "two double beds", but they were really single only. Also, they do not have a restaurant (only a bar), and the wi-fi was a bit dodgy (poor quality).
Wifi signal was strong and reliable Breakfast (great selection of food) Room was clean Proximal to subway (Chamartin Station) Good restaurants in area PRICE! Especially for the area, it's a great deal.
"Nonsmoking" room had faint smoky aroma and an ashtray Room was spartan Hotel had a vague "passed it's heyday" feel
close to station
The staff where very friendly and spoke English, location was great easy to find with plenty of shops near by and rail connections. Rooms were clean and with plenty of space
The only downsides to the hotel was the breakfast was not brilliant and the bathroom was a bit dated!
Big space. Right above the railway station of Chamartin.
Wi-fi at night wasn't good
Near to chamartin station for onward travel.
Its rather austere.
Location and views from our room. Breakfast selection was very good.
No power point in the bedroom for use , only in the bathroom..
