The proximity to the beach and sea front was excellent and it was easy and fairly inexpensive to use taxis further into the city. The restaurant was very good standard.

The rooms got very hot due to the lack of air-conditioning. Due to the popularity of the cafeteria the car park was very busy and there was a lot of noise drifting into the rooms up until late at night.

Friendly helpful staff,location beautiful,very comfortable.

Weather but not their fault

Great location, just few steps from the sea. Well worth for the money. Hotel restaurant is very cool and serves some great burgers, tapas and nice beer. Breakfast is okey as well! Room was nice, clean, comfy, big bathup and nice view from balcony.

Always a great time

Liked everything (apart from two small things). Liked location, Sea view from all rooms, Free parking. The cafeteria is a lively mass of people eating drinking talking and laughing.Food very acceptable. Tapas items excellent. Waiters very slick. Room very clean. Very Spanish place in sum total. Perfect night stop for uk ferry. Even the name Cheeky makes you smile. Will definitely stay again.

I don't like shower heads fixed to the wall or ceiling or rubberised covers on the mattress that ridge up during the night. So two very small items.

Great, spacious, airy hotel. Everything you could ask for with possible exception of being a few km from the centre of town. We had a small but modern room with very high quality bathroom. Free parking on the premises which looked secure. Right on the beach, perfect for strolls. We found several bars/restaurants within a few minutes walk - especially a good genuine Mexican tapas bar (Mar e Cortes, Plaza Ruben Dario). Easy drive into town/ferry. Nothing not to like, and only Eu 56 for a double room.

Our room had a balcony overlooking the seafront with a view of the beach. The decor of the room was black and light grey which blended well and we particularly liked the subdued lighting behind the bed and the mirror in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the tv had a couple of news channels in English. The hotel receptionists spoke English and there was plenty of free car parking in the hotel car park at the front of the hotel.

We looked at the breakfast buffet and were not impressed with what was on offer so decided to have a toasted croissant with coffee and orange juice in the hotel cafeteria instead which was less than half the price of the breakfast and was very good indeed.

Pleasant accommodation in an excellent location next to the sea. In one direction from hotel, there is a nice colonade along the sea towards the city centre. In the other direction there is a nice, green and refreshing windy path above the cliffs towards the lighthouse.

Great location, lovely room with balcony and sea view, great choice in cafe which is used by guests and locals, which gives a very nice feel. We uesd the hotel as last night before catching ferry, super choice as you can have a nice relaxed morning along promenade. Gives a much better impression of Santander than city centre. We now beleive next time we would spend longer there than just a stop over.

The location was lovely with fabulous sea views. We used it as a stop over for the ferryport. The room we had was lovely and very comfortable, however we would have liked to have used room service for a meal when we arrived as we had just completed a 9 hour journey up from southern Spain. Unfortunately this wasn't available due to the renovations which were taking place and we had to go downstairs to the restaurant. I am sure once these renovations are complete all the facilities and services will be available.

Only the fact that room service was unavailable due to refurbishment.

It was convenient for the Brittany Ferry terminal without being in the overcrowded busy part of town. Very comfortable and would book again.
