Staff - Mauricio is one of the best persons I have ever met. Location Interior Atmosphere
This hotel is perfectly situated at 5 min from Place Catalunya. The staff was very nice and accommodating, the room was small but well decorated and clean. The bed was excellent. The breakfast is very good and offers both savory and sweet treats. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Nothing. It was perfect.
The hotel is very close to the center and metro/train stations. Polite staff. The mattress was reaaally comfortable. Very stylish and cozy place.
Needs a little bit more of privacy. The rooms are very close to each other and to the shared spaces. No sound insulation.
Loved the building with a great mix of historic and contemporary design features.
Location is great. Just off the Ramblas, handy for metro. Staff were very helpful, gave us a map and explained the area and how to get about. Had a street facing room with a tiny balcony, just room enough to squeeze out to sit. Lovely big shower. Lots hot water. Nice breakfast selection. Lovely dining area, more like staying in a home.
Noisy street. Big stone steps down from bathroom to bedroom. A bit risky in the dark. Shower in bedroom with totally see through walls. Odd lying in bed watching partner shower.
hola! Last three days, I felt soooo good. staffs were so kind, the room was comfortable, location was also perfect. for these reasons, I will book again if i come back barcelona. so see you later~
This is a place with personality, we enjoyed the stay and service very much and would recommend to stay there to our friends. :)
Extremely friendly staff comfortable room breakfast good great central location metro 2 minutes walk
Shower Door in room had normal see through glass so no privacy had to close curtains when showering
The decor of the bedrooms and the common areas had a relaxed and modern feel. Bedrooms were fitted out in a stylish manner and the staff went out of their way to make sure you were well informed about the property and Barcelona in general.
A very noisy street was unfortunately the one thing that spoilt our stay. I had requested a balcony room and didn't reuse it faced quite a busy and pedestrian accessible road. I'm sure the bedrooms further back in property wouldn't have heard any of this noise.
This is a well located, simple, and clean hotel. The service staff were very welcome and helpful. Our first floor room was small but well kept. The room was well lit with a balcony and AC. It's not a luxury establishment but was just what we were looking for. Particularly for the price -- very reasonable. The Eixample neighborhood is somewhat less touristy and more upscale than the areas near the Ramblas. Walking distance to most major Barcelona sites and close to shopping, restaurants, and bars ranging from low end tourist circuit fare to higher end near the Passeig de Gracia.
It did not have a proper closet or towel hooks in the bathroom. The mattress wasn't super supportive but couldn't call it uncomfortable.
I stayed here over 1 month ago while looking for a place to live. The employees here are super helpful and genuinely friendly.. Especially the manager!..The place has a really cool relaxed feel to it.. Very cosy and a nice neutral decor..I would definatly recommend this place!..:)
sadly for us we only stayed here one night after our a misunderstanding in reservation in other place- however this 1 night was enough to understand just how great this place is! i Highly recommended!!!
Staff are friendly
Old bulding and lots of nuise around
A small place in an excellent location - think of it of a huge apartment with lots of space, both shared and private. A great place to get close to the city quickly, both physically (great location in town, really!), and in terms of getting in contact with the great staff (well, "hosts" might be a better word) and fellow travelers. Oh, and great eye for little details. Great coffee! (How far am I into my 200 characters...?) Need a student neighborhood? Turn left, left again, across the street and you're there. Old town? Same, walk a bit further, and you're there. Fancy food places? Head right and straight. Anything else? Short walks to main metro lines.
We did like it. Full stop. You might not be perfectly happy if you look for anonymity and distance to staff and travelers, or if you are looking for a pool and a spa.
service breakfast place
Great Location, great staff, fantastic property. Proper one on one attention from staff, very relaxed atmosphere and in a brilliant location. Room was great, breakfast very good. All in all brilliant.
Nothing at all.....
The most comfortable and cheapset accomodation I've been during my Spain holiday. Really lovely staff! Great location too. Would definitely stay there again when I visit Barcelona again.
The location was very convenient
It really seemed more like a guesthouse or a hostel, not a boutique hotel. Building entrance was dark and dingy, room was ok but a bit pokey, breakfast was pretty mediocre and entirely self-service. It's all fine if you know what you are getting, but the photos and the price lead you to expect much more than the reality.
Staff were brilliantly helpful. The hotel was always perfectly clean and welcoming, and the WiFi was flawless. The location was perfect, nestled between the old and new cities. The breakfast was small, but had just about everything we'd ever need. The shared space, with a dining room and courtyard, was a beautiful, tastefully-furnished sunny haven.
Some other guests complained about the rooms. Our [internal] room was small and somewhat dark - however it was perfect for our needs, and had an excellent bathroom. Other [external] rooms face the street and were apparently prone to street noise, but that's a small issue with what is otherwise a beautiful place to stay.
Very friendly helpful attitudes of staff Slightly whacky setting and attitudes Quality of basic services
It was all good
Good location and well connected. Cozy public area. Nice terrace. Overall, good value for money.
The location close to metros and passeig de Gracia. The staff were keen to be helpful (e.g. warning everyone about the disruptions on 11 Sept. Nice to be able to make a drink at anytime and making your own pancakes for breakfast was fun. Wifi easy to use. Also gave spare set of keys to the hotel so we could get back in and retrieve our luggage after checking out.
We felt it needed fresh bread for breakfast (not just sliced) and for some shade in the breakfast room. Some things (e.g. hair dryers) you had to get by asking at the desk but as there wasn't anyone their in the evenings (or part of the day) it was difficult to access these 'extras'. Balcony v small.
The hotel is located in walking distance to many of the attractions of Barcelona. And if you like to walk around you can easily go to la Sagrada Familia, the Rambla,Borne and so on. The area feels very secure and there is both restaurants, bars, nightlife and a vast variety of gay bars, clubs and shops just outside the door. The staff is one of the kindest and most helpful I have ever experienced!
There was some nights with noise from the street - but it is to be expected in a large city on weekends.
Clean, excellent location & facilities, helpful & friendly staff :) Would definitely recommend!!!
