City Center Apartments  

The apartments are located about 5 mins walk from the Diagonal Metro Station which is well connected to all the major sights in Barcelona. It is in an old part of the city full of small boutiques, deli's restaurants etc. The two bedroom apartment was well designed and well equipped. It is slightly shabby vs the rather slick professional pictures on the website, but everything worked properly, the kitchen is fully equipped and the shower of a good size with good water pressure. The beds were comfortable and the free wifi was a bonus. It suited our family with teenagers well and we would certainly use them again if the opportunity to re-visit Barcelona arises.

The towels were hard and we did not have a handtowel. The kitchen dishcloths were also in short supply. The white walls were rather 'tired' the dining table a bit chipped and the shower cubicle and corners in the bathroom not totally clean. I expected something newer from the pictures - it was acceptable but not the wow that it probably was when new.

It is a nice place. We were very surprised because the apartment was very big, clean and comfortable!! ))

The location was fantastic. It's close to the Gracia, the most beautiful location.

The location was excellent for shopping and sightseeing and a lot of basic extras were provided, like washing up liquid and sponges, shower gel and shampoo. There were lots of plates, dishes, mugs and cutlery, and pans. There was always Gian on the end of the phone if you needed any help.

The oven and dishwasher were very small in an apartment for 8 people. Bins being emptied in the middle of the night, just outside front bedroom windows, meant disturbed sleep for some.

The apartment itself was spacious and very well equiped - beds were comfortable and shower/bathroom facilities were top class. Also our contacts at the apartments were very helpful and dealt with all of our needs.

Superb location - 2 minutes walk to Placa de Catalunya and 5 minutes to Ramblas. Very roomy apartment with bedrooms at the back, so quiet.

Balcony on roof terrace too high so unable to see anything unless standing on a chair! Laminate floors very noisy and broken blind in one of the bedrooms meant one of our party was woken at sunrise every morning. Hand held shower attachment did not fit into wall bracket. Promised bottle of cava on arrival did not materialise.

Nicely located in a lively neighborhood. The design of the rooms, very inspiring.

Apartmenrs on Martinez de la Rosa for 8 persons: Great for family. Cosy rooms, kitchen and living room. A lot of space. Good Wi-Fi. Great location.

Apartmenrs on Martinez de la Rosa for 8 persons: impossible to use two showers at the same time - the lights come off. Not very good cleaning in the middle of stay.

Any time I called the contact person he always answered the telephone. One window did not lock and was accessible from the terrace, but our contact person sent someone over the next day to fix it (on a Sunday no less). We could have breakfast and coffee in our room before our days plans. Coffee pot and coffee were excellent, very important for us. Were happy to pay for the water, coffee and milk that was left for our usage if needed. Location was close to the metro and the main road for shops, and eateries. Liked having doors to open for fresh air, although the terrace faced other buildings.

Both the bathroom sink and shower backed up with every use. The towels were old and some torn from use. Bathroom could use some updating, (caulking etc.) as could the apartment.
