VITA Toledo Golf    

This is the third time at the hotel. Lovely setting, the staff are very friendly and the food is good all at a very reasobale price for this well situated hotel. The two dislikes would not stop me staying there again.

No coffee/tea making facilities in the bedroom and no rugs at the side of the beds. You put your feet on cold tiles when getting out of the bed.

We have stayed there twice before last. We love the area, (Toledo region) and find this an excellent hotel to stay at. In the countryside just outside the City with lovely views and good atmosphere.

We were dissapointed with the first night's menu del day meal. The main course fish was raw/uncooked (wife's) and was not eaten. The chicked I had was over garliced. The next two nights were buffet style and great value for money and quality. A pity the first night was very poor. The room we had was double/twin bedded for two people, only one chair. !!! There was no coffe/tea making facility in the room

This hotel is located on the edge of the golf course with easy access to the National Park and huge lakes, and a short drive to get into Toledo itself. The fact that Layos is a quaint and pleasant little village with some lovely buildings should not be overlooked, and that Arges the larger town a couple of kilometers away is also attractive, with a variety of restaurants and shops, and is also an advantage. The hotel is particularly cool and pleasant inside, and has a nice swimming pool for dip and sun lounging area, and many other additional services and facilities that we had no time to sample. Our twin room was pleasantny decorated, and we were fortunate to have nice view over the pool and golf course and all was in good order. The air conditioning was quiet and adequately effective on what were some of the hottest days of the year. The ambience of the hotel was altogether very pleasant and it seemed a shame that it was so 'quiet' (in terms of trade), although we were staying on Tuesday night so maybe one of the least busy days of the week! The reception staff were very helpfu,l friendly and spoke very good English -- always useful for a modestly-skilled (at best) Spanish speaker, like me! My 6 year old daughter thought the hotel was 'Brilliant!'! And at the price -- I could not disagree!

Not a lot to say negative. However for a 4 star hotel it is a shame that the admittedly modestly priced breakfast was marred by awful machine- brewed 'coffee' (terrible stuff -- especally in Spain, of all places!!) and by equally horrible machine-concocted powered-regenerated luridly- colored and disgustingly-flavored so-called 'fruit juices'. How much better a little more effort in these departments would have been to finesse what was otherwise 'staple international continental fare'. In the uk we call this 'spoiling the ship for a ha'p'orth of tar'! I am sure that any negative comments/ratings about this hotel largely arise from the lack of a little effort and ingenuity on part of the management and chefs, and it's a great shame.To be picky the 'bacon' was also flaccid and pinkly-uninviting and looked undercooked (although I guess it was essentially steamed through), and the toasting machine wws set 'too high;' and burnt the toast! Recommendation to Citymar management: Making the breakfast memorable for the right reasons would assuredly transform this hotel into a 9-out-of-10!

15 minute drive into Toledo, beautiful area. We had a very large roof- level private balcony with a view of the golf course and surrounding landscape. Perfect with a glass of wine after a long day on the road!

Lacking services, design inconsistent, wifi did not reach rooms and was slow. Breakfast was sufficient, but eggs were cold and coffee was lacking. Felt like a 3-star at best. In the end, I wished we'd paid a little more to stay in Toledo.

El trato recibido por parte del personal del hotel, el confort de la habitacion, la verdad que me ha gustado bastante el hotel quizas uno de los mejores de toledo.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba

Los camareros, lo único que se salva de mi experiencia en el hotel. Amables y atentos con el huésped.

Lo que aquí expongo es real, nada exagerado, y hasta dispongo de fotos de algunas de las deficiencias que a continuación expongo. Informo de esta manera porque quise poner una hoja de reclamación, pero tenía trabajo y no podía llegar tarde. Así al menos dejo constancia de mi experiencia en el hotel: - Tanto el edredón de mi cama como el sillón de la habitación tenían restos de café y otras manchas que daban sensación de suciedad y abandono. - Uno de los toalleros del baño roto. - Después de un día lluvioso, llegué a la habitación con ganas de darme una buena ducha con agua caliente y tuve que dármela con agua fría porque estuvo TODA LA TARDE Y NOCHE sin agua caliente. Quise cambiar de habitación y me dijeron que afectaba a todo el hotel. Cuando lo solucionaron llamaron a mi habitación para informarme, ¡pero eran las DOCE de la noche y ya estaba en la cama! - Esa tarde-noche que continuó siendo lluviosa también comenzó a entrar agua en mi habitación, ¡aun teniendo la ventana completamente cerrada! - Cuando dejé la habitación el último día quisieron cobrarme dos menús y dos cervezas de cena que estaban apuntados a mi habitación y que no había consumido (ni siquiera tenía sentido porque yo viajaba solo). Cuando se convencieron de que decía la verdad, me dijeron el precio total y tuve que indicar que no coincidía con la oferta que yo había cogido. Después de otra comprobación ya me dieron la factura con el precio que correspondía... Unido a esto, en ningún caso hubo una disculpa formal ni compensanción de ningún tipo, ni siquiera una predisposición especial por atender las solicitudes o contratiempos. Más bien la actitud que se desprendía del personal de recepción era un "es lo que hay, toca aguantarse...". Cabe destacar también que la habitación contratada no era una básica sino una "superior". Como queja añadida solicité cama doble al reservar y me dieron una habitación con dos camas.

El precio

No funcionaba el wi-fi ni en las habitaciones ni en las zonas comunes. Esto en un viaje de trabajo es insoportable. Parecía un hotel fantasma, oscuro, vacío. En la recepción cometieron un fallo detrás de otro al hacer la entrada y las facturas.

Solicité cama de matrimonio al hacer la reserva y aunque el hotel estaba vacío me dijeron que ya no les quedaba ni una. Trato nada cordial

La cercanía al campo de golf

Le sobran estrellas. En el restaurante sólo buffet y de los malos, bastante pobre la comida y el desyuno. En la zona de cafetería muchísimo frío, había que estar con el abrigo puesto!! Creo que a realidad del hotel es como mucho para 3 estrellas pero 4 ni de lejos.

Limpieza comodidad y proximidad al golf

La suite Don Manuel es un auténtico lujo,con sus dos enormes terrazas que dan al campo de golf, televisor de plasma en el salón y el dormitorio, amplio recibidor, un baño precioso con vistas... genial!!!. No me esperaba tanto a tan buen precio.

De locatie ten op zichte van de golfbaan

Geen 4 sterren waardig! Weliswaar ruime kamers maar slecht onderhouden en niet goed schoon. Personeel spreekt amper Engels en er is geen keuzemenu, slechts een buffet wat van matige kwaliteit is. Ontbijt is ook niet 4 sterren waardig supermarkt broodjes en potjes yogurt. Wij zijn de voorgaande nachten in 2 en 3 sterren hotels geweest die vele malen beter, schoner, luxer en beter opgeleid personeel hadden. Citymar presenteert zich als een golfhotel, maar kan de gasten echter niets over de golf vertellen behalve dat het 300 meter lopen is.

De ligging aan de golfbaan is mooi.

Het hotel is zeer gedateerd, personeel spreekt voornamelijk Spaans, voor een 4 sterren hotel vindt ik dat zeer slecht. Hotel is niet meer als twee sterren waard. Heb op onze trip twee sterren hotels bezocht die beduidend beter waren. Geen keuze mogelijkheden voor het eten, alleen buffet van matige kwaliteit. Over de golfmogelijkheden weten ze bij de receptie ook weing te melden, wat raar is voor een golfhotel. Kamer was ook niet erg schoon, ook de gangen naar de kamer niet.

Gute ruhige Lage

Mässige Qualität des Abendessens und insbesondere des Frühstücks: es wird nichts nachgeliefert, und das Personal reagiert unfreundlich auf die Bitte, Teebeutel (der Kaffee ist ungeniessbar!), heisses Wasser und Milch nachzuliefern: es ist besser (und ökonomischer) in einer Bar im Ort zu frühstücken....

Die Lage zum Golfplatz

Als Busreisende im Hotel waren war das wenige Personal total überfordert. Es muste über 1/4 Stunde auf Tassen oder Besteck gewartet werden. Es fehlte hier oder da an allem. Am Tage gab es auf der recht schönen Terasse weder Bedienung noch einen Sonnenschirm bei ca. 35 Grad. Nach meiner Einschätzung hatte das Hotel eine schlechte Führung.

Le petit déjeuner est très médiocre. Le personnel ne parle pas anglais. Aucune adaptation des horaires du petit déjeuner par rapport aux horaires du golf....j'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel pour un tournoi de golf et il n'était pas possible de déjeuner le matin. Hôtel assez bruyant

La verdad es que muy poca cosa

La ubicación del hotel está muy mal indicado. El pueblo es muy pequeño y solo hay un mini-cartel al final del pueblo indicando el hotel. El desayuno bufet, está lejos de ser un buffet de 4 estrellas. Solo había una camarera y no montaba mesas. Las toallas del baño eran super sencillas y estaban muy gastadas. Lo único que tenia de 4 estrellas era la habitación que era bastante grande.

Tranquilidad. Para desconectar Menú mediodía excelnte y a buen precio

Socorrista muy desagradable. Solos en piscina con niña pequeña y malos modos. Me quejé en dirección y ha sifo motivo de cambiar mi elección de hotel para el próximo fin de semana. Iré al Beatriz Toledo a pesar de ser mucho más caro. Peor desayuno de cualquier 3-4 estrellas que he conocido y viajo mucho
