Good location, within walking distance of a lot of attractions plus a metro station. Continental breakfasts were great. Also having water in fridges on each floor was brilliant. Would have liked tea-making facilities in the room.

Location, location, location. Around the corner from the Picasso Museum. One block from the wonderful Montiel Restaurant and Jaume One Metro stop, not to mention all of the Tapas Spots in El Born. The staff is wonderful and the facility immaculate.

Location is great. Staff is very friendly. Free bottled water on each floor. Double bed is super.WiFi in the room. The room was quite small. Ventilalation in bath room might be better. Sometimes there was an unpleasant smell.

- The location was perfect for a city holiday. - shopping, underground, restaurants, cultural attractions, beach etc... all within easy reach of the hotel. - The hotel was exactly the right size for us. - not too big, not too small. - Staff - friendly and helpful. - Very little storage room for clothes. In a room for two people, there were no drawers or shelves and only a limited number of coat-hangers to hang things up. - Most of our things had to be left in the suitcases. - Our towels were changed too often, even though we hung them up.

Great location, only a few minutes from the Bari Gothic, Jaume I metro station. Very friendly and helpfull staff. We did not like first room that we got and there was no problem with changing it. Very nice relax area at the roof with a great view, small swimming pool and deck chairs, perfect for hot days. The room was small, modestly furnished but clean and rather quiet. Though the room was rather quiet there was a door to the room next to ours and through them we could hear some louder sounds like cough.

Nice staff, plenty of information, discounted tour coupons, excellent design and cleanness, reasonable price, convenient location. I was not sure about how to use international calls from the hotel room. I was also wondering how much it would be to make a phone call abroad. But later, it turned out no problem at all. I just suggest it would have been better if there was information in the room about this issue.

The location is excellent surrounded by nice restaurants and shops - and just far away enough from Las Ramblas to be a little quieter. I loved the terrace as it was a nice haven to go to after a busy day sightseeing. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and any requests were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I will definitely stay in Ciutat de Barcelona next time I visit Barcelona and will recommend it to friends and family. I found the room rather hot as the air conditioning wasn't yet on/

Very friendly,relaxed staff who were extremely obliging. The hotel, though quite small, was very well designed and everything worked: lots of hot water, strong showers, and cold drinking water freely available on every floor. It's location was ideal for us - close enought to the interesting places but not so close that the noise kept us awake. You might have gathered by now that we liked it! I didn't dislike anything but would respectfully suggest investment in a better coffee machine for breakfast.

The staff where very helpful and honest one of our party left his wallet with money and credit cards in when we returned the cleaner had handed it in. Rooms very clean , less than 10 mins to la ramblas nice local bars and resturants on your doorstep , I would recommend ciutat to anyone I know , there where 6 in our party and all said when we return to barcelona we will be staying at ciutat de barcelona. Easy walking distance to La Ramblas, located on a nice narrow street with quaint shops and cafe bars. Fridge filled with complimentary water in corridor. High standard of cleanliness. Breakfast could be impoved by providing more variety especially fresh fruit.

the location of the hotel is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful with information and directions. The rooms are small but have everything necessary for a short city break. The roof terrace and pool are fabulous. It was difficult to control the room temperature and the rooms were very warm.

Location and the staff friendly approach Very poor intrent access; small rooms vs extremely high price (ca 300e per night/double room.....nightmare....). The whole service is not worth more than a half of it.....( I mean room size, facilities, services).....sorry but I do have good comparision...with other countries....

Walk to Las Ramblas where the action is and very near the Plaza Catalunya Station where you can can get easy transportation to anywhere in the city.
