Ciutat de Girona  

I picked up the specific hotel for a long weekend with wife and 3 year old son because of the location (excellent - practically in the city centre) and really enjoyed staying as it was clean, with friendly personnel, very good breakfast and a decent restaurant operating in the same space as breakfast.

Standard rooms could have been a bit bigger but cannot complain. Parking can be a nuisance in Girona, however being used by my hometown Athens (...) I did not mind driving around the 3 public parking lots close to the hotel for about 10 minutes each time looking for a place to park. The other option was the €21 / night parking round the corner which I found pricey...

Many historics places to visit, besides, the 'Faculdad de Girona' where nice place to study!

The front desk staff was excellent. All offered great references as to where to eat, how to get there, and what to do while in Girona. The location couldn't have been better. What a bargain for the price. The room and bathroom were beautiful and large. The large window made it bright and cheerful. The sound proofing was excellent. We heard nothing at night once we closed the window. The cooling system worked perfectly. The location was fantastic.

The hotel is well designed and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and the location could not be better.

The shower while excellent in water pressure tends to splash and create puddles. A somewhat bigger door would be practical.

The location was great if you want to be central to Girona though it wasn't the easiest place to find even with a GPS. Fortunately there are signs near the hotel directing you to it's location. Parking for a hefty price was also available just a half a block away. The price was appropriate, the staff was friendly, the room clean and the bed very comfortable. The decor was so thoroughly ultra modern it had its charm. The only disconcerting aspect was that our room was on the top floor and our windows were skylights and not openings to the outside. I must say I've stayed in hotels where the room was a blank wall but I've always been able to look out. On the other hand it was very quiet. Girona, the city, was nice one night stop, plenty to see, good restaurants and good all round ambiance.

Price of parking. Not having a window to look out of or at least not being offered an alliterative to not having a window.

This is an excellent hotel - perfect location, great restaurant, great rooms and really helpful, friendly staff. I would happily recommend this.

Very central situation, excellent design, spacious rooms and private parking

Hardly possible to navigate to with and GPS - you more or less need to know how to get there.

Location, sense of luxury at budget prices, excellent design everywhere

Parking at some distance, but not too far. However easy to reach for loading & unloading the car and a brief stop

Location is good. Close to old city. The room is clean. The front staffs are very kind. Breakfast is good ( it costs 12 Euro). Internet is free. If Wi-Fi is not OK, you can hire LAN cable from the front desk.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was perfect - just what we were looking for. And it was nice to have a cd player in the room (after we worked out how to use it!).

It would have been good to have some less expensive parking near the hotel. Apart from this, there was nothing we didn't like.

Easy access to the old town which is fascinating. The hotel is located in a pedestrian area. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

No visible bar area in order to meet up with people.
