Great room Breakfast Really helpful staff
View from room
A bathroom with no door and sinks that took forever to drain. Also, extremely confusing light switches.
the location and the services
Room service menu very limited
Our room had a bit of a problem but was resolved with an upgrade change. The Pm shift girl who helped was very special in her professionalism and service manner.
Great location, staff and room.
No negatives at this hotel
Did not like the pillows. For this class of Hotel the pillows should at least be feathered/dawn.
The rooftop bar/restaurant and pool is just lovely, and the staff were great.
Everything. A very good hotel and we were well looked after by very attentive staff. The rooms were of a high standard. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The price of the drinks
Quality of service, location, friendly staff.
Room - very little natural light, noisy with work going on and lift operations. Expensive drinks in Terrace bar.
Hotel quality was fantastic as we're all the staff we encountered.
Food prices were high. €104 for a few sandwiches and drinks is a bit unnecessary. Soft drinks cost more than most alcoholic drinks too.
Location, comfortable bed, cleanliness, friendly staff
Rooms fronting road are a little noisy,
In the heart of the city . Very helpful staff. Clean .
Good location. you can walk to all facilities and near the centre of Barcelona.
Location, cleanliness, rooms, staff, Facilities.
Sound proofing was bad, sound from the corridors (children playing and shouting in the corridors early morning and at night)
The hotel did meet all of our expectations . It was situated in the main are of the city near to shops and restaurants. It was rated correctly as a 5 star and most of the staff were very helpful and polite. The roof terrace was very nice and the small pool was adequate .
When we arrived at the hotel we were in informed that we could not check in until 3 pm. We walked around the city for 4 hours and when we returned only one of our suites were ready. When I complained I was told that this was an approx check in time yet as I was waiting many other visitors were turning up and being checked in. The male receptionist that was dealing with my booking I felt was a snob and I felt he was being judgemental . We had booked 2 suites and was spending a lot of money at the hotel. My party were dressed very basically in travel clothes and a lot of guests were turning up with designer luggage and clothes. I did not receive any discount or apology from the receptionist. I booked 6 people in for breakfast and only 4 went to breakfast and the same receptionist refused to change my bill upon departure. All of the other staff in the hotel were very helpful and polite.
Beautiful room, great roof top restaurant, nice breakfast, stylish lobby. Can't beat the location, would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Barcelona.
Was told they would probably have our room ready around 1:00, which we appreciated after the long flight. Ended up every 30 minutes we were told another 30 minutes. By the time we finally got checked in it was 3:30. Very frustrating!
The rooftop terrace and pool was a real luxury in what was a very hot visit to Barcelona. Wonderful room, great blackout blind and attention to detail in terms of the design. Had a great nights sleep all three nights and the facilities of the hotel suited our needs after a busy day in the city.
The cleaners perhaps visited the room a little too often, disturbing us a few times.
Allocated bedroom a bit on the small side. Also Bar on roof was only place available for drinks during a thunderstorm. It was such a pity that there wasn't a bar available/open indoors.
Excellent location, walking distance from almost anything in Barna, subway and trains just one block away, always taxis waiting at the entrance, staff very friendly and helpfull, our room was spacious and quiet at the backside of the hotel, no complaints.
Conveniently located. Friendly staff.
Small beds, wifi service
Location was good.
Too many Families and Kids screaming and kicking doors all the time, day and Night Horrible, I could not believe how bad it was!
The hotel was easy to find, close to good shopping and had an intimate feel. I will stay there again when next in Barcelona.
Staff was overall helpful and pretty nice, with correct spoken english. The rooftop terrace with pool is nice too, although quite small
The taste level of the decoration is, at best, regrettable. Everything looks old and tired. Overall the hotel entrance and corridors feel like a fridge, the gimmicky "art" pieces look cheap and out of place, and most equipments (lift, bathrooms, windows) are half broken. Rooms on the street are very noisy, and sound isolation between rooms is poor. Rooftop aside, feels like a motel by a small town airport rather than a 5* hotel in a fancy city like Barcelona
