If you are disabled, out of shape or just unwilling to hike it up to your room every day, don't bother. We're fairly fit but hauling 2 little ones up to the top of a very large hill every day was tiring. There are tons of steps (don't even think about that stroller) and no elevator. The food was mediocre and very expensive. I had undercooked meat twice, also. Your only other choice for dinner is to hop in your car and drive the very windy road to Tossa de Mar. Food there wasn't much better either but ok. If you go outside of July-Aug, the water is coooold, even the pool which isn't heated.
There were a TON of activities at this resort, but our kids were a little too young to participate. Great for adults and older kids. The view (get the sea view!) was breathtaking. Fun and relatively inexpensive boat to Tossa was fun for us and kids. Sangria at pool bar was really good.
