Hotel Garbi Ibiza & Spa  

The location is great. The rooms are brand new with very nice design. Hotel is right on the beach. Nice restaurant on the beach with a good menu and good food. Very nice staff. The hotel is right on playa d'en bossa a little apart from crowded, noisy, party-like beaches, but only a small walking distance from those if you feel like joining the parties. The cool thing about this is that you can sleep very well at this hotel.

The room has a safe with a key for which you have to rent it at the lobby (first time that i have to "rent" a safe in a hotel of this category). The worst part of our stay was the breakfast. They have only 2 coffe machines (very bad coffe) for which all of the hotel guests had to make a line in order to get a coffe which turned out into a mess and the coffe is not even close to being a decent coffe. the staff of the hotel did not seem to care much about this. Also the cutoff time of the breakfast was 10.30am which for Ibiza is kind of early. The hotel is very nice and pricy but i belive they should improve a lot their service to match the prices they charge.

We came for a ladies weekend away and found the hotel perfect. From check in to check out the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The location is amazing, being right on the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back next year.

It has to be the orange juice at breakfast time!! Terrible. Also, at breakfast time, many guests battle with the coffee machine. One should consider rather using coffee pots of filter coffee.

great location right on the beach. Good sound proofed rooms so didn't get woken up early by noise or people walking down the corridor. the hotel staff were very helpful.

there weren't enough sun loungers around the pool so we had to go to the beach everyday. it seemed like people put their towels down the night before to save themselves a bed even if they weren't there!

The hotel was very clean throughout. The hotel is very modern. The staff are excellent. The pool is very good. We were lucky enough to be given a Suite for the price of a standard room which was a wonderful surprise. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

No food served in the bar after 6.

Spa was fantastic, just what you need after a day in the sun. The food was good, excellent breakfast and value for money evening buffet. The staff were very freindly and the rooms very clean with good facilities, including the empty fridge to fill with your own drinks. The pool was not crowded, no need to put towels out at 6.00am, easily find a sun bed in a good location before 11.00am, if not the hotel was right on the beach.

The hotel itself was nice. Looked like a hotel in Las Vegas.

For the cost of the room, I was disappointed with the actual service and amenities. The walls were thin and we could hear the neighbors next door to us. Our phone didn't work and neither did the A/C. When we went to notify the front desk, they asked why we didn't call them and we had to explain again that our phone wasn't working. When we mentioned the A/C, the woman at the front desk gave us attitude and said the island is located on the Baleric Sea and they usually don't need A/C. Then the woman said she'd put an order in so the repair man could come the next day. She suggested we miss the complimentary breakfast that I picked with our reservation so that they could fix the problem. We asked for the repair man to come to our room at 11am. We waited an hour in our room for someone to come by, but no one ever did. We got tired and didn't want to waste anymore time in our hot room, so we told the front desk to just forget about it. With as much money as I spent on the room, I expected better service from this supposed "four star" hotel.
