I can not say enough positive things about our very friendly and helpful receptionist, Christina, who could not have gone more out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. When we arrived in San Sebastian after a very long drive from France, it was raining and we were starving. The hotel has only a small cafe, but they do have a partnership with a local delivery pizza/burger place - however they could not have anybody deliver to us within an hour. Christina was most apologetic for this, but as it is only a 5min walk, we decided to explore the streets ourselves. There is a local supermarket which also stocks alcohol about 3mins up the road as well. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable, and ours had a huge balcony with water views which was exactly what I had requested when I made the booking. Parking is in the hotel, underground - you need to drive around the block to access it, and it is a bit tight, but very secure. Wifi coverage in room is good. Breakfast is a mixture of hot and cold, and plentiful. The shower is on the small side, but does the job. The bed is on wheels, and does have a tendency to move if you are sitting propped up on the wall. I did also request a quiet room as we are light sleepers, however we were given a room right next to the elevator.

We liked everything about the Codina. The front receptionist was outstanding from explaining bus routes, parking, the old city, and the hotel facilities. The coffee shop attendants were very helpful and went about doing their jobs in a very efficent and friendly manner. The hotel room was very comfortable, of a good size and clean, the view of the ocean was tremendous. The WiFi was reliable. The location of the hotel was good, within walking distance of the commercial area and the old city. If you did not want to walk the bus stop is right outside the hotel. Very impressed with this hotel and the staff

Nice bed, clean room, just 10 minutes walking from university and from the beach. I am a very light sleeper and have asked for quite room but was given a room in elevator hall and facing main road. Don't like to complain but that was very noisy.

The hotel receptionist was excellent and helped us enormously. The secure parking was worth doing as San Sebastian is a nightmare to get a parking space. The location was ideal - 100 metres from the beach. Not a complaint but the room was small

The area surrounding the hotel offers local bars & cafes as well as stores. It's a pleasant stroll along the seafront into the old town, and there is also a good bus service. The room was comfortable and a decent size, the hotel is well maintained.

Was very comfortable bed, close to beach, long but enjoyable stroll into old town. Was also nice to be in a modern accommodation. Cafe/bar on site was an added bonus. Would like tea/coffee making in room.

my room was comfortable, modern, quiet. TV had international options which I used. Bathroom was very adequate, shower very small. Very convenient to beach and other parts of town, Staff was somewhat preoccupied. Helpful did not give you the impression that you were very welcomed. staff was not very welcoming. Although the price was somewhat high, they made you feel like it was a budget hotel shower small breakfast extra

Our room was on the 7th floor and we had a terrace with loungers. We had a view of the bay and Monte Igueldo. It was lovely to sit out at night. The room was very comfortable and the staff of the hotel went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

The staff are very pleasant. The location by Ondarreta beach is nice, although a little far from the town centre. The rooms are clean and modern. Wi-fi works well. The price was very expensive considering there are no real communal facililties and breakfast is not included.

Very nice, modern room; helpful staff; clean and quiet. The location is out of the centre a bit, but there are regular buses out the front of the hotel that get you to the centre in 10 minutes, so it's not really a problem. Good location for the beach.

Our room at Sercotel Codina was very clean and comfortable and was roomy enough that we were able to make ourselves at home there for the 5 days we stayed. Breakfast was typically European, but was more than enough to satisfy us with plenty of options. The staff member that seemed to be in charge of the breakfast room was always friendly and I'll remember her warm welcome every morning!! The reception staff were also very helpful and friendly. The hotel was a fraction out of the way of the old town, but this wasn't a huge issue for us as it was only a 35 minute walk or 10 minutes on the bus. The buses stop right outside of the hotel.
