Nice quiet room. Excellent breakfast.

Dirty plates on many tables at breakfast.

Facilities were very good. Good breakfast bar. Overall we were impressed. Great to be able to leave luggage securely after check out.

Bed was a little hard. would have liked better range of tv channels.

Close to the bus station which has a good service to the airport. Good quality rooms at a good price and friendly helpful staff.

Good location in centre of santander. Staff helpful. Rooms comfortable and bathroom had good selection of toiletries.

Some rooms at back of hotel (room 201) a bit dark due to position and not getting a lot of sun/daylight which could be fine in summer but otherwise would ask for rooms at front of hotel. Also, an armchair to sit and read/view tv would have been nice as only desk chair.

Fantastic central location. Easy walk to rail stations, bus stops, ferry terminal and airport bus terminus. Fine selection of shops, bars and restaurants in locality. Great atmosphere created by all hotel and hotel bar staff.

The staff were efficiant and friendly. The hotel was clean and of a high standard in a good central location.

Even though we had notification the restaurant was closed New Years eve it was also closed on New Years day which was inconvienient as there was little else open either.

The room was very nice. The staff very helpful.

The breakfast, although lots of choice the eggs were very greasy and the bacon undercooked. Not as good as the Silken Rio by the beach.

Very nice, modern and clean rooms, large bathroom, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, good location in the city centre near the train and bus stations and the shopping area.

Location

The wifi in this hotel is really bad. It only allows you web browsing, only one device at a time can be connected (if you connect your laptop you won't be able to connect your mobile) and, additionally, it is very, very slow. This is a four stars hotel and I decided to book here instead in a different hotel because of their free wifi offer with the intention of working from the hotel con la intención de trabajar desde la habitación del hotel, in these conditions it is imposible.

Great location just minutes from the heart of the shopping district and also the seafront

This hotel never disappoints! The breakfast was superb, even catering for dietary needs of allergies. Excellent value for money.

Known group used many times so aware of facilities

An excellent location for visiting Santander. Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff and very good facilities.

Good hotel in the centre of Santander. Very polite staff, spoke good English. Not that close to the beach (2 km) but to visit the city it's ideal. Breakfast is fantastic: you have a huge choice in different kind of cakes, cheeses, bread,... an ideal start of the day.

Very small minus is that the view from out of our room was a blind wall. You just have to be lucky I think... :-)

Its the second time we have stayed at the Silken Coliseum and both times we haven't had a view!! Maybe we will have third time lucky?

Liked the location most of all and the fact that it was right beside La Tagliatelle Italian restaurant!

A little pricey for two nights.

Good location for shopping & resturants.A short bus/taxi /ferry ride to a choice of at least 6 lovely sandy beaches.Santander felt a very safe place to visit. We will be going back.

Good hotel with excellent breakfast bar.

Tv wasn't the best in the world.Broadband in the room and reception areas was virtually non-existent.I Believe you could upgrade for a charge but didn't bother as most bars/restaurants had free wi-fi that worked.

Liked this hotel it was very well located close to the main shopping area and also the older part of town and tapas restaurants and also close to the sea front. No problem with a return visit here we had no complaints

Good Hotel in Centre of town and staff very helpful all of the time. With a motorcycle the garage is a boon. Most places in town are walkable and the atmosphere was very good along with good value for money

Easy to find, clean and comfortable with secure parking which is important if you are motorcycling

Like th emajority of continental hotels there were no tea & coffee making facilities in the room - shame really

The Ham, Cheese and Egg sandwiches in the hotel bar are awesome!

Nice hotel in good position good sized room and lovely bathroom with very good facilities. We didn't have breakfast as we were leaving early and only stayed one night.
