The location couldn't have been better to experience Ronda. The terrace outside our second floor room was spacious and would have been an asset if we hadn't had non-stop rain.
No pillows in the room and no air conditioning remote (even though they gave us a TV remote when we checked in) so we couldn't use air conditioning, plus noise from bar below us was horrendous. Not much sleep that Thursday night, I'm afraid.
The staff were amazingly hospitable. Such great value...a lovely breakfast included in the very modest cost...wow...how do they do it! Great location Central to everything.
Fresh and beautifully clean. Attentive personal touch by the owners/staff throughout our stay. Easy walking distance of Ronda's attractions and historic parts.
There wasn't anything to dislike.
Small hotel, centrally located for the main sights, restaurants and shops. Room was comfortable with A/C,heating,tv and bathroom/shower.Very clean.Breakfast while basic was sufficient and more coffee or toast was available if you asked. Very Good value for money (breakfast was included) and the staff could,nt do enough for us. Reduced rate parking was available nearby with a voucher from the hotel.
Close to town and bus/train stations. Bedroom window kept noise out well. Hair dryer in bathroom.
Shower was small with the two sliding doors to a corner. Not my fav style, but not a big deal.
Colon has a great location just a few mi utes from the bus station and even less from the bridge over the famous gorge. Both the room and the bathroom were a good size for a hotel in this price range and everything was spotless. Our room was on the top floor with a terrace (yep a terrace not a balcony) which got the sun all day long. Breakfast was toast, butter and jam and although basic it was filling - with nice bread. Best of all the staff were terrific; friendly, smiling and so friendly, as good as we have ever encountered. All in all we loved this place.
Has lift Very well location Friendly
From the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left nothing was too much trouble. Staff fab , room lovely , location wonderful. Definately be back .
Nothing , everything was fabulous.
The hotel is right near the centre so excellent for sightseeing
Wonderful hotel in a beautiful town. Very welcoming staff. Large room with a private terrace. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
The staff was kind and helpful. We were provided with two maps and explanations of sites and city layout. The room, facilities and restaurant were clean. The breakfast was simple, but just what we needed. A bonus was the unlimited delicious coffee. We arrived via bike and right away the woman at the desk offered a safe storage area.
Good place for a short trip : Nearby city center and parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice. Clean room.
I didn't sleep well because of a very hard bed.
A great hotel, excellent value for money. Spacious room with a lovely terrace. Very clean and comfortable. Even though there was a language barrier, this did not impact on the friendliness and service from the staff. A great location for getting about in Ronda. Would definitely recommend and would return. Lots of parking in the street, but does get busy.
I agree with previous comments about the traffic noise, it is on a busy corner in the centre of town, however was not an issue. Also there is a bell tower opposite!!
The staff were fantastic and very warm. The hotel is spotless and in an excellent location for exploring the town.
Good location and friendly staffs. Good value for the money. Clean and cozy.
Location, comfort, nice staff (though not speaking foreign languages).
A bit noisy traffic around the hotel can be disturbing if you want to keep the windows open at night. We did not, air conditioning worked well.
Staff, lovely cafe with cakes and cold beers. Comfy clean room. Car parking just up the road for 10 euros per night but need to get a receipt from Colon. My son had a standard room with no terrace which was lovely, had wifi and no drain smell.
Drain smell- we had the room with terrace but unfortunately couldnt enjoy the terrace at all because of the smell from the drains - the waste pipe seemed to end at terrace level. We had the same problem in the bathroom. It was such a shame - spoilt our stay. We also couldnt get wifi and couldnt get some of the lights or hairdryer to work. When this was mentioned in the morning nothing was knocked off the bill.
Location was fab, air con was a god send. Breakfast was toast and coffee and was very nice. A pleasant stay was had and I would stay there again.
small but clean and neat. not too much decoration, very simple. It focuses on a private sleeping place. Parking place offered, very good. Cafeteria downstairs, not only for drinking but also for breakfast. I appreciate that there are an elevator, very convenient. Our rooms were very quiet, because face to the courtyard, many thanks.
wifi signal, depends on. we have 2 rooms, one was in 1st floor, another 2nd floor. In 1st floor, very well signalling, but not stable in 2nd floor.
Chose this hotel as walking distance from the bridge and the old town - we weren't disappointed. Easy to find and managed to park the car on the street though there are car parks nearby. Had booked a room with terrace and although we didn't spend much time in the room, it was nice to be able to open the doors and look out over the town. The room was very clean with a good bathroom. Breakfast was excellent though a bit confusing as to what is included in the room rate - continental breakfast is extra, but coffee, juice, toast, jams, tomato are included!
The Wifi didn't work up on the 3rd floor so had to go down to Reception. Bar all closed up on Sunday evening so couldn't get coffee when came back from dinner.
The hotel was very well place, comfortable and clean and quiet.
Nice small family run hotel with very nice bar downstairs. Not very far from historical part and close to the big park. Very nice staff. Good value for price.
Firstly we were offered an upgrade 2 days before for a couple of Euro a day .we had the double room with the lovely big terrace .The staff were friendly the hotel clean .fantastic position very central .The price is very good also for this hotel.breakfast was basic we added eggs and it wss ok .I chose this hotel as I wanted a basic hotel a bit Authentic and this fitted the request o
The wi fi didnt work in the bed room and a safe should be offered as the keys were often left unattended and there was no safe in the room so we carried all our valubales with us
