Clean, quiet and well presented. Staff a also very pleasant.
No mirror in bedroom; breakfast ran out of items with still an hour to go; they really must solve the awful sewer smell there is at times;
Breakfast WIFI Location, not far from metro (station Valldaura)
Could be cleaner The room on the ground floor
Nice hotel in the outskirts of Barcelona. The room is basic but comfortable. It has a fridge in the room what was very convenient for us, as we buy some food in the nearby supermarkets and fruit shops. The breakfast is simple but for the price cannot demand more. Free wi-fi in the room. Free parking in the neighborhood. It is located a bit far from the city center but it´s near a metro station (5-10 min walk). Metro to the city center takes about 15min. It was the perfect hotel for our city break to Barcelona. Cheap, clean and near public transports.
Staff were pleasant.
The room was tiny. The first day was 30 degrees but Management refused to turn on the air conditioning which meant the room was stifling . We had to open the window for cool air which also meant that we had to contend with street lights, exhaust fumes and noise. The latter mostly from the bus stop right outside the hotel. Because the curtains had to be open we were exposed to the street and the apartments opposite. The lack of space and privacy meant that we had to get dressed in the tiny entrance. We were both extremely tired and uncomfortable which spoiled our entire trip to Barcelona for us.
The friedliness and helpfulness. My bag was stoled and so I ended up without any money an passport or other ID cards. I have to aks my bank send me some money. During the process, the staff helped me a lot and even drove me to get the money, spending more than 1 hour to help me. I really appreciate what the hotel staff has done for me. Thnanks very very much, A traveler from Italy
Close to the subway station.
Breakfast was the same in each morning (I stay 5 days).
No change of towels
Good breakfast, clean room, close to metro station. Everything in the room functioned good.
All rooms above the ground floor are without windows, stuffy and with smell from the sewage system. I asked to change the room and got it on the ground floor with window, twin beeds and less smell. Eldery receptionist didn't speak English.
walls are thin, I could not sleep well from the noise coming from inside the hotel. staff does not speak _any_ language but spanish.
The coca cola was nice & cold
Neve stayed in a more dire hotel. Staff rude. Hotel stunk. No wi fi. Kids sized beds with paper thin mattresses.
- location, 5 mins from the metro station - quiet place
- wifi signal is low - pillows are uncomfortable
Wifi didnt operate
The staff was exceptional, especially Rafael. Our rental car quit at 8 at night, they only spoke French, and we needed to have it towed. Rafael took over, got them to agree to what we needed, and had the car towed. We could not have done it without him. He and Jaory made our day.
Location was near the metro. Excellent breakfast each morning. Coffee always available. Excellent staff.
The entire building smelled musty. My room stank: I think this was due to mold growing down the floor drain of the bathroom floor. I had virtually NO hot water the last day.
Location is Good near with my purpose. easy to reach, close to the transportation public.
the Brrakfast is very poor. the Air conditioning is not running well.
The stuff were friandly and waited to us to arrive at 2am
The smell in the room was not good. We needed to open a window to put the smell out.
low price, good breakfast
very far from the city center and any place to go out
Nothing except the morning receptionist is helpful
location is far from the city center ( 25 minutes by train ) Metro location is 5 min walk from the hotel No wifi in the room The ground flours is very noisy as it's on the main street
The bed was very comfortable and it had a bath with steaming hot water. It was a prime location for what I needed, beside where my son lives,
Breakfast was very expensive for what was on offer. Coffee from a machine' not nice. I also observed the staff put breakfast out, he used no gloves to take salami from packet and place on tray, then took the bread from packet without washing his hands and continued to put breakfast out without gloved or washing hands.
no unnecessary features in the hotel, I got a room on the fifth floor with a very beautiful view, free parking, cheap breakfast, good location - just close to Ronda de Dalt (Ring Road) - very convenient if you are going to travel to other cities, not far from the metro station
you can have problems with finding any cafes if you want to eat smth late in the evening - only one bar with snacks and an expensive restaurant...
- daily cleaning of the room
- doesn't look anything like the photos - outdated furniture - Wi-fi only in the lobby - unfriendly receptionist - poor breakfast
Breakfast was delicious
One of the receptionists didn't speak english at all! Only spanish!
Surprisingly good breakfast for the price. Location away from centre but more authentic Barcelona experience is to hand in Horta.
Drains smell, light bulb not changed, no toilet paper at first, crappy soap, narrow bed. Stupid little things that could easily be fixed.
Location. 3 short blocks to metro. Buy the 10 ticket book and cover the city. All sites are short walk from metro stops. Quiet. Retro windows have reduced outside noise level to zero. Hotel on corner of two bust streets. Quietest stay of the trip. Rate this the best hotel stay of our two weeks.
Nothing not to like.
Close to metro statio (300mts) Mini bar
Poor Temperature control (warmer) No early breakfast !! No tea/ coffee or a kettle in the room. If you have a meeting by 8 am, forget about the morning coffee or the breakfast. Facilities for food outside is limited, esp veg food as a bit far away from the city centre
