The Columbus is a short walk from Platja d’Aro Beach, on Catalunya’s Costa Brava. With an expansive courtyard, it offers a free Wi-Fi zone, tennis courts and an outdoor pool. Air-conditioned rooms at the Columbus come with a private balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a satellite TV, minibar and safe, and the private bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Hotel Columbus has a children’s playground and a game room with billiards and ping-pong. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and poolside snack bar. Room service is available and there are vending machines for snacks. There is a field and a putting golf course half a mile from the hotel, and Aquadiver Water Park is one mile away. Trevlig personal, bra läge och välfungerande wifi på rummet som lovat. Betydlig Bättre än på svenska 4 stj hotell. Matsalen var lite tråkig, med ingen möjlighet att få äta ute på terass.

L'emplacement Hôtel indigne d'un 4 étoiles, surfe sur sa réputation d'il y a 30 ans, bâtiments abîmés, chambre exigu et démodée, a besoin d'un sérieux lifting, petit déjeuner buffet a revoir sérieusement en comparaison avec des hôtels du même standing

only location is good, espessially room with front sea view. Единственный плюс отеля-это первая линия, отель стоит прямо на море. Мы жили в номере с видом на море, и только это скрашивало проживание в данном отеле. it is really as 2* hotel- poor meal and restoran services, low room and hotel comfort, charged parking. Этот отель тянет лишь на 2 звезды, но никак не на 4. Никому не советую останавливаться ни в этом отеле, ни в этом курортном месте-очень низкий сервис во всем.

Fruehstuecksbuffet und Abendunterhaltung ( Frock Rock ) im Garten ! . Deutsch ist im Hotel eine absolute Fremdsprache:-) , auch auf der Speisekarte. Sanitärbereich im Zimmer stark abgewohnt ! Dt. Tv Programm totale Pleite, lediglich Schwachsinn von sat 1 empfangbar !

La amabilidad del personal. La cama muy cómoda. Por ser un hotel de 4 estrellas, las habitaciones están bastante anticuadas. Falta algún sillón y un poco más de espacio. Hay pocos enchufes (para el teléfono móvil, por ej. La luz de la mesita de noche no es individual, no hay conexión Internet en habitación. Creo que un hotel de 4 estrellas debe tener las habitaciones más espaciosas y con más confort.

De ligging van het hotel is prima, dichtbij het centrum van Platja 'd Aro en aan het strand. Het hotel kan aardig wat onderhoud gebruiken, het is niet wat je verwacht van een 4 sterren hotel.

Onverzorgde kamers, schimmels in de badkamer, vies, achterstallig onderhoud, een balkon vol met uitwerpselen van vogels, onverzorgd. Medewerkers aan de bar die alleen Spaans spreken en verder niets. Veel te duur voor dit niveau.

proximité plage. Salle de restaurant agréable et petits déjeuners très convenables. Chambre non conforme à la réservation: petite. De plus l'isolation phonique entre les chambres est inexistante ( les ronflements venant de la chambre voisine nous ont souvent empêchés de dormir ) l'état de délabrement de la salle de bains est indigne d'un hôtel, même non étoilé : rideau de douche déchiré, lavabo fissuré et rafistolé au chaterton, carrelage au sol rayé et cassé par endroit datant probablement des origines de la construction ( années 60...) Cet hôtel ne mérite plus ses 4 étoiles si on le compare à des établissements de catégorie théoriquement inférieure et situés dans la même ville.

El Columbus me gusta de casi toda una vida, el sitio que es una autentica maravilla, las instalaciones con la Piscina en medio de los Pinos y la maravillosa playa de frente, el personal que de la vieja guardia ya no queda nadie, y el nuevo personal son muy profesionales y muy amambles.Lo triste es que el Hotel lo estan dejando caer, necesita urgentemente de una profunda restauracion Es una pena que no lo hagan........

Lo mejor la situacion en 1º linea de mar, muy centrico pero sin ruido, la zona de tiendas a 5 minutos andando. En el hotel las zonas comunes muy bien, las habitaciones (un poco antiguas) se podrian renovar Habria faltado algo para tender las toallas y bañadores,y algun cenicero aunque fuera en el balcón.
