lovely staff, great central location.
very slow wifi, very expensive (average) breakfast. Rooms on the 1st floor are quite noisy at night.
The location is near to two metro stations that give you good access to most places in Madrid. The breakfast was varied and plentiful.
That we had to leave the hotel to find a suitable restaurant. The gastropub next door was not what we wanted.
The location was in a nice area and easy to get to many restaurants and shopping areas walking or by subway.
Helpful attitude from the manager to the chamber maids, Spanish hospitality at its finest.
No complaints whatsoever
excellent location, clean room, good staff, free one-time log-in wi-fi, not a chain
small room, window looked out into other windows, dark room
perfect quiet location near places we like - stayed there many times so know how it works, etc. - staff very helpful
breakfast is now poor value - used to be much better - serving staff overworked when a group tour gang comes in
Location of Hotel is very convenieint. Front desk staff are very helpful.
Cleanliness. 1st one week after I checked in, room cleaning did not take place. Thereafter i had to follow up insisiting that room be cleaned.
Good bed Easy access
Very poor wifi Reception desk not particularly helpful Breakfast expensive
We have been staying at Conde Duque for many years. It is quiet, convenient and comfortable. The addition of In room wifi is a real plus. We are sure the bar will be great when finished.
There is a need for non slip bath mats. The tub and floor are very slippery.
The hotel was just right for us. Good service, facility, location and breakfast. A good 4 star. Free and fast wifi in all hotel. Clean.
Noise from adjacent bedrooms was disturbing. Every time our neighbours entered their room it sounded as if they were entering ours! We jumped pit of bed several times at night thinking someone came into the room. We even heard the shower noise. Tv programs 99% in Spanish!
Comfort, cleanless and the location make this hotel an excellent place to discover Madrid. Underground parking next to the hotel - just leave the car and use the convieniend public transport.
Really nothing to complain about.
The personnel are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the location is great.

Location and value
Rooms are small. Shower in bath tub very hard to get in and out
Excellent location. Close to Metro. Easy walk to good restaurant districts.
Recently the hotel kindly added free of charge wi-fi on good speed. I was pleasantly surprized! as I was ready to pay based on previous feedbacks. Good location: 3 minutes walking from metro station San Bernardo. 15-20 minutes fast walking to central streets and squares. I took the smallest single room to save money - and did not regret as it was quite enough to work on laptop in the evening, have bath, good sleep in twin-size bed, watch TV. Small fridge full of bar bottles. Coded metallic safe. Clean room, bed linen was changed daily even when I placed a memo not to change it:) Very nice and helpful staff on reception. So pretty view on front size of the building and outside - there are couple of playing grounds for kids, very calm and green street without any traffic. To save money I did not eat in restaurants so I visited few shops nearby the hotel where you can find food, snacks, milk products, jamon etc. I loved Madrid! and good impression after the hotel was part of that general feeling.
Lovely traditional style hotel with charm & character. Nice location overlooking the Plaza tucked away from main street. Staff helpful & attentive. Reasonable value for money.
Pricing ambiguous. Paid for Room including car park then had to pay for car park additionally. Meals in hotel rather expensive (but to be expected I guess)
I liked the location which was quiet and peaceful and yet quite near to the main sites. The room was adequate. I didn't pay for breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that.
I didn't like the fact that my room wasn't serviced by 1800 onone of the three days I stayed there. The staff on reception kept telling me that housekeeping were in my room and I kept telling him they weren't! Took about 40 mins to resolve.
The location was good in a nice area. the hotel staff were nice and helpful
One of the best hotel 2 times in one month
I loved the staff...really helpful, always smiling and very friendly
Non availability of restaurant facility
Good location, very comfortable rooms, excellent service
Located pretty close to nice restaurants, Universidad Politecnico de Madrid, and Barajas Airport
