Fantastic location

Location and good value for money. They have decent breakfast. Staff where extremely helpful. Clean enough, basic facilities, what i liked was the size of the rooms, was really spacious

Breakfast is for that price ok. Plus factors are the location – in the centre of the city, nearby the underground, the airportshuttle, the very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are clean....

The first impression was absolutly disappointing, because they gave us a room like a little box with a tiny window. Also with nice contact to the neighbours, because you hear discussions and turning of pages of magazines. Unreasonable. When we booked I sent an extra message to get a quiet room in the courtyard but it wasn’t meant to get something like that. We could change the room, still it was a loud room, don’t forget earplugs otherwise you can’t sleep at all.

Staff was friendly, acomodating &knowledgable.Hotel was noisy both internally & far too much street noise. I got offthe metro directly across from thehotel.Signage is poor! Not only did I miss it but 3 hotels less then 100 m away didnt know it nor the staff at 2 rest. Literally less then 15' away. The address on booking.com is incorrect!!! Location is great but there are far better places for the same price. Again Id like to repeat how wonderful front desk was. Some double pane windows would greatly increase guest comfort.

Noise level both internal & street noise. Poor signage & Booking.coms inaccurate address. It is located on Calle Taller!

We couldn't find a suitable electric socket.in our room. Entrance could be roomier and more attractive.

three sisters sharing a room on the top floor it was very clean with a nice view maid service daily breakfast very good value supermarket near also cafe very good staff very helpfull. would recmmend

Everything that I wanted was within a few minutes walk, tour bus, restaurants both expensive and budget, an Irish pub and a beautiful plaza. A perfect hotel to see Barcelona on a budget.

The sound proofing between rooms is terrible

The location is excellent! And of course the balcony... nice! Even though it's old but for the 2 stars is alright.

the location of Condestable is terrific,center of city, close to transportation, cosy, tidy & clean, everything you need in a city trip

it was not a major problem not having a fridge in the room since it was winter, but in the summer i think looking for a cold sip of water in the middle of the night will be a slight problem

We spent in this hotel 3 nights in autumn. Price 50 eur/night/2 pers. Very good location, close to La Rambla, spacious room and bathroom with all basic equipment that is needed, free wireless internet access working without problems. Breakfast basic served only till 10am, but quite ok.

Furnitures very basic and quite old. The poorest were room doors,looked like taken from student dormitory and did not protect from any sounds coming from the corridor. Seems that also ceilings and walls are thin.You could hear water coming down with pipes if somebody was taking shower or using toilet in the room one floor higher.

Location is the best thing of Cendestable

The location was very good and the hotel was clean.Rooms serviced every day and towels changed every day.

As with other views that I read before going the soundproofing at the hotel is very poor.

I liked the central position, easy to arrive from airport, easy to get around from Condestable. The people working in the hotel were very nice. The room was clean.

No isolation between the rooms. You can hear absolutely everything from your neighbours. Every word they say. This is very bad, people come and go during the night when you try to sleep, impossible to fall asleep. Really bad!!! The place for breakfast was very narrow and uncosy, and the breakfast was very poor. The price was much to high considering what we got from our money!!!

Location is fine. There is a metro station next to the hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Receptionists are really nice and helpful people.

I didn't like german and italian teenagers running betwen rooms slamming doors and view from my window (336).
