We were only staying two nights in Madrid, so we decided to find something closer to the airport which is in the east side of the city, even if it meant having to take longer to take downtown. This worked well, as we got an excellent hotel for cheap. The rooms are very spacious and very clean, with a mini-fridge with free water bottles. Wifi and security box are also free. Great price! The drawbacks of this hotel is that there is not much around it, and it does take about half an hour to take downtown by subway (about forty minutes counting the walk to get to the station). Another drawback is that even though the hotel is close to the airport (a 15 euro-cab), it is too difficult to take the subway/bus there, as one would have to transfer about 3 times for each. (If you are planning to take a cab anyways, this shouldn't bug you). So in conclusion, an excellent hotel that's far from the city and close to the airport (but not by public transit). I recommend it if you want a good price and don't care about the time it takes to get downtown.

Wide rooms with all modern conveniences, perfect for relaxation; Very good breakfast; Personal – very friendly; Supermarket nearby; Quiet and relaxed area; Location – not in the centre, but the metro (12 - 15 min. walk) has very convenient connections through the city; Bus stations next to the hotel - not so convenient as a metro, but is also OK. Airport is just 10 min. by car. Taxi to the airport is some 20 euro. Not good connections to the airport by public transport – you must change 2 – 3 lines, but even then it is not more than 45 minutes. Supermarket nearby; Quiet and relaxed area.

The room was of appropriate size, and the breakfast offered a nice variety of food. The room was not very clean and the day to day cleaning was not always at a reasonable level, particularly in the bathroom. The location did not offer many options for dinner, and the hotel's own restaurant was of low quality for dinner. At lunch time, service was very slow.

I liked the cleanliness and the double head showers! I didn't like that a double was two beds pushed together!

It's a very confortable hotel. It isn't far from the metro station, and in 20 minutes you arrive downtown. There are a lot of places to have lunch and it doesn't matter if you don't want to pay 18€ for breakfast at the hotel because there is a restaurant in front of the hotel where you can have a delicious breakfast spending 5€ or less. We had some problem with the heating. Our room was very hot and we had to sleep with the heating turned off and the window opened otherwise we almost couldn't breath. They tried to fix it but it didn't work. But we didn't want to change our room because it didn't matter after all. So, they tried to help us, but we didn't want to because it was our last night at the hotel.

Rooms are very nice, i liked especially bathroom. Receptionists were really willing to help as much as possible, when we wanted to know some information. I liked a lot design of a hotel and their quick solution of issues. There was no shop opened during weekend near the hotel. In the room was not double bed, but there were only 2 beds putted together, so sometimes it was quite unconfortable.

The beds were the best in Spain because the beds had mattress pads. Also, the wood floors made the room feel cleaner. The free water was a plus. Not enough tv channels, or English tv channels. The Metro was too far away, but that's not anything that can be fixed I know.

Comfortable, quiet (no sounds from adjacent rooms), free bottles of water!, Excellent pillows and bed Just that it would have been more convenient to be closer to the Metro station - but a 10-minute walk is ok.

Room is very comfortable, spacious, all amenities provided, in a nice suburb, supermarket 4 min walk, cafeteria across the street, serving breakfast for one tenth of what the hotel charges. Future travellers note there is a direct bus from Barajas passing in front of hotel, no need to waste time, geting into metro. Too far away from the nearest metro station, a 15 min fast walk really. Personnel very offstandish, never smiling, very distant, when checking out, left my luggage for 10 min in the lobby to go to the computer to check my email and it disappeared, they took it away without letting me know. Not professional attitude.

Nice staff, very pretty. Location was OK, could have been worse. The No. 5 line is pretty quick and the walk from the station takes about 15mins although a taxi with your suitcases is the best idea 3.80 euros Not too bad. try and bring a cable for the internet. The wifi on the first night was unusable. We asked for a cable the second night, which one lady said no, they don't have but the pretty one took our room number and said that if one became available she would send it up. anyway the second night(Saturday) the wifi worked very wel.l

“I chanced upon this hotel as I was looking for shifting out of an excessively highly priced downtown hotel. My experience was very pleasant. Booking via booking.com gave me a room 3 times bigger, with free access to wi-fi (Euro 12/day in other hotel), and a bottle of wine to top it up. The area was very nice and if one keeps about 15 minutes commuting time by Metro, it would be a steal to stay here for any business or holiday traveller to Madrid …. ” Sandeep, New Delhi |

“We liked everything about this hotel. The location is fantastic - right in the middle of Madrid and close to several different areas for bars & nighlife etc. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The bloke who checked us in even gave us a choice of three different rooms depending on whether we wanted a room with a balcony, one on the top floor or a slightly bigger room lower down the building. This hotel is very clean and well maintained with all of the facilities you would expect from a four star place but at a very competitive price. Excellent value, couldn't recommend this place more highly.” Patrice, Birmingham |
