Bath facilities are in bad condition, poor breakfast

Nice bed, nice bathroom, internet worked and there was a nice view.

Listed as a **** hotel, but is definitely a ***. Only stay if you get a special deal like we did. Bus into town takes nearly an hour, so best off walking 5mins to the Metro instead.

It was a very good offer for a big triple room through booking.com, the reception staff was very friendly and helpful, it is a convenient location and easy to find from the metro station. Very comfortable and clean.

I liked everything, the only thing I would add for the comfort of the traveller is a kettle to be able to have a cup of tea in the room.

Polite,helpful staff. Easy access to the city centre. There is a bus stop outside of the hotel on route to Puerta Sol/Plaza Major. There is also a Metro station a few minutes walk away.

Good location, good breakfast

I most liked the good transport connections despite a non-central location - which was nevertheless very convenient to me for family reasons - and the kindness of the cafetaria and dining room staff - they even offered to cook a fresh puré for my little baby. Breakfast had been significantly improved (variety and amount of fresh fruit and pastries, Nespresso machine, etc) since the last time I stayed, two years ago.

It was incredibly hot in the room, with no possibility whatsoever of bringing the temperature down unless you open wide the only window which worked (the others were blocked). This resulted in terrible traffic noise late in the evening and early in the morning (Pio xii avenue is a three lane avenue each direction and the hotel stands close to the motorway entrance, where cars speed up), and rain falling into the room. The second unpleasant surprise was that, despite having booked a triple room (i.e. meant to accommodate three people) with an extra baby bed, I got a double room with an extra bed and a baby bed that barely fit in the available space to walk in the room. The room service confirmed that it was a standard double room and I should have got a superior room instead, which is that used as a triple room.

We loved our room because it had a great terrace with a view. It was very comfortable and was modern. It was a little dirty though.

Slightly dirty and A/C did not work, but we went when the temperature outside was cool enough.

Good standart of accomodation. Metro station within walking distance.

Cafeteria looks old fashion beige in beige - not the ambience for me to relax. Never the less clean, conditions keept well and functional.

Confortel Pio xii was very easy to reach by car, and there is a Subway station (Pio xii) and a small commercial area (Centro Comercial Alcampo) very close to the hotel, at less than 10 min walking. We were lucky to find parking space just by the hotel and that it was Saturday evening and did not have to pay until monday. The hotel was clean, the rooms large and nice, and the personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Parking around the hotel is not easy, although the Hotel offers parking facilities but I do not know the price for it. Breakfast at the Hotel is very expensive, at 18 Euro per person, and there are not many places around if you want to eat out of the Hotel.

Efficient and professional staff. Rooms were clean and ok size. Fridge in room was a real plus.

Nad, lo elegi por su ubicación muy cercana al lugar donde debia trabajar. Para viajes de turismo está lejos del centro aunque tiene metro muy cerca y aun autobus en la puerta directo a Sol.
